Hey Matt, I actually work at In-n-out! Liked the video, but you missed a couple of crucial things about your Double-double animal style. First thing I noticed, you added oil to your onions. We actually don’t do that! We just put them on the grill and let the flavor come out of the onion with the heat. Second thing, when you put the buns down, we also don’t put oil on the buns, we put them down on a Teflon mat that helps distribute the heat. And the bun we use is a sponge bun! Third, when you put the patties down on the grill, you missed one of the major parts of animal style! We mustard fry our patties for anything animal style, which means that we put mustard on the exposed side of the patty before it’s flipped over. This is one of the unique things about animal style! We also always put pickles on animal style and lettuce on all of our burgers unless you say other wise!
The day earth ends is when Christ comes again and raptures his children, so repent and be ready for that day, for the sinners we will be left behind to rot and suffer
I made this, and let me tell you, this was the best burger I’ve ever made, i recommend you to watch the other videos, it helps the taste a lot to see the full process
The ALWAYS crisp lettuce and tomato never gets the respect and recognition it deserves. Most people seem to disagree with me but I think its one of the most important defining things about an In N Out Burger.
Coming from someone that works at In-N-Out it’s funny hearing him say the caramelized onions are the most important part cuz it’s not. Didn’t cook the patty properly either with the most important part. Buns also don’t have oil or anything they’re just toasted. Still looks delicious
To make it the "animal style" fully authentic you put yellow mustard on the griddle before the patties & don't forget the slice of lettuce & dill pickles before the buns (their regular burgers dont have pickles)
Found your channel from tik tok. You remind me of binging with babish, great production quality and straight to the point in your videos . Keep up the good work and maybe try and do a collab with babish!
Sup dude thankes for the tic tok recipes on the food really amazing and I follow and subbed and liked every single video keep the good cooking and keep the good work really love it
I caramelize my onions, 1 white onion. High heat with about 2 table spoons of oil STIR continously 5 mins or so. Add salt STIR add 2 table spoons of sugar once onions have turned brownish. STIR FOr ABOUT 10 MINS. On a quarter of your stoves heat. Reduce to lowest heat, let simmer and stir every 2 mons or so
As an In n out associate our procedure is very simple: Sponge toast and place it straight down to let it warm up Nothing goes on the onions just let them heat up on the grill (their own side of course) Before turning/flipping the patties grab some mustard and swirl it on the patty itself What comes on it naturally is: The spread/secret sauce Lettuce Tomato Pickles (sliced) And extra spread!
When In n Out cooks their grilled onions they don't actually use and oil they have a trough that is on the right side of the main grill that they put the onions in. Source: Worked there for 5 years.
This was good, you just forgot to add sliced pickle, mustard fry the meat patties while you cook them and lettuce. I work there lol. It looks really good though!
I’m upset I’m just now discovering your channel, but as they say, better late than never right? I see your “American cheese” and raise you “Beecher’s Flagship”, lol. While I appreciate regular sliced American cheese, it gets cold too quick and ruins the burger for me. Though, I do love some old school “commodity cheese”. It works great for quickly eaten grilled cheese sandwiches and scalloped potatoes. Keep up the great work!

A legend named Matt
Matt should make a restaurant named Food and stuff, and for breakfast he should have cinnamon roll cereal.
