Pretty good video, I'll emphasize you nailed the part of "using your time or using your money" when you described the monetization of game, because me, being a veteran of 2000+ hours , I still think that way about the new weapons, mods and warframes that I want to get in the game.
Another good point is the grind, but needs additional clarification. Yes, you're going to grind a lot, but also the game is designed for you to find better ways to grind later: if you want an specific resource you can use specific warframes (and now companion + mod) that allows you to collect more resources. Even scanning to put enemies in the codex is made easier later in the game, and you can use that scanning for your advantage with other group of warframes. And even some grinds has been shortened due to players input, so, as the story, it gets better later on.

You goofed on additional weapon and frame slots, you can obtain more absolutely free of charge through things like Nightwave and even login rewards.
I'd also like to point out that Warframe is 11 years old, new players tend to want to zoom through content rather than casually coasting.
Warframe is definitely a marathon rather than a foot race, and rushing toward the end can get you the rewards, but you'll generally lack the significance of how to utilize them properly or understand the functions or synergies.

Great video overall. i just want to say though, I know you think you got a good grasp of what Warframe is but i advise you not to jump to any conclusions. i will say it seems like you got a good feel for the starting experience, but what you have seen so far is literally just that..."the starting experience". you have no idea what's waiting for you and i mean this in a very good way. Warframe is a rabbit hole that goes very deep, and you are just scratching the surface. I would love to hear your thoughts later on as you get to the meat of the game.

I agree that the game changes as you put more time in it, it's just a shame that you need to put in hundreds of hours to get to that point.

I stopped after The War Within. I thought that was a good stopping point for a new player review.

@@CasualConsoleGamerYT Yeah it is. i would say War within is still early game until the New War quest which is mid game.

2:15 it's light on story, until it's not.
Warframe has more story content then full priced 30+ hours AAA games. You just have to get to it.

Yup, it just takes awhile to get to that point. Maybe they could have streamlined the start so you can get to the good stuff.

@@CasualConsoleGamerYT Yeah, this is a topic that has been discussed a lot about both the community and the devs. the general sentiment is that it would be a bad idea to advance the story to the early game because it wouldn't make sense from a narrative standpoint and it would lessen the impact of the big story beats, so it would be better if they added a quest that would bridge the gap between the tutorial and the start of the story, But this is just an idea. what the devs are actually doing is they are streamlining the early game and make it less confusing as much as possible so that at least it wouldn't take as long to get to the story, while keeping the overall structure as is.
