  • Massive rains and flooding hit the area so I decided to go see what washed out on the village site. Enjoy!

Thanks. I wish that drill would have had the tip on it. I either find the bases of them or the tips of them. Never at the same time. 😂.

That stinks. We need the rain but I can do without the damaging wind crap. Hope it washed something out for you.

Killer bird point brother. I never find a complete drill. I don’t even find many that are broken👍🇺🇸

Thanks. I don’t find them very often. It’s usually the tip or the base. I have a small one that was made out of some sort of archaic dart point. It’s like it broke and they used the side of it to make a drill out of. My brother in law ran over it pulling into the field we were going to hunt. Luckily it was a sand field.

Too bad that motley and that drill were broke but both still killer finds, I’ve never a really killer drill, just crude ones, I’d say it was definitely worth going back and getting your phone for that birdie, it’s a sweetie, my buddy just sent me a very similar looking one, I included it at the end of my last video, he sent me a overstreet book and a bunch of other goodies too, I found a sweet flint point right by my house Sunday, been looking through the overstreet book trying to identify it, anyway nice finds bud, congratulations, God Bless & GL&HH!!

Man you can spend hours looking at those over street books. I’ve always got mine out trying to figure out a point type.

@@SeMoArtifactAdventures yeah, it’s amazing that there’s such a variety of point types, I’m trying to study up on them, not to good at retaining knowledge though lol, I’ve burnt way to many brain cells but they are very good to have, he sent me a book about all the Georgia tribes too, been studying up on that one too, GL&HH Buddy!!!

SALUDOS AMIGO. LO MEJOR PARA TI.
Whenever I go out, the first thing I take out is my cell phone because without it I feel unarmed. It was worth coming back for the phone, I hope it wasn't too many miles. That tip was worth it. Oh no, It's a miracle to find a drill. Their functions were very rough, which is why they broke down. Still she is beautiful. It's brave to find a piece in that condition. GREETINGS FRIEND. THE BEST FOR YOU.

I didn’t have to ride very far but I have to ride up a huge hill. About 600 ft of elevation gain The village site was on the edge of a big cliff that overlooks what would have been an old swamp in their time. It was a big surprise to see that drill. It was very well made. I wish you all the best and hope you find some amazing stuff.
