    Amigo, thank you for this video. Very informative. Appreciate the information you are sharing. Just a little tip, the word is “FOH-reh-nehr” with the accent on “FOH” not “foh-REY-nher.” ☺️

    Hello Carlos, thank you for the video, it is very helpful. I have MX and US citizenship. I live in the US and am interested in purchasing vacation rental property in CDMX. I would be purchasing with part credit, probably finance 80%. Where can I find a list of fees for purchasing the property, including title history search, lien search, document fees, title fees, etc, etc? Thank you!

      Hello my friend, thank you very much for your kind comments, regarding your questions, I don’t think there is a list for all those fees as such, since taxes and fees usually goes in hand and may vary depending on the value, location etc, of the property, also and this is a very Important Tip, if you buy a property as a Mexican living in USA, you’re going to pay way more taxes than any Mexican living in México, so I’ll suggest for you to get Mexican ID”s with an address in MX, etc. Hope this helps 😉

    I own land (ranch) with my dad in mexico and have an aunt who has build and lived on 12 metros of ranch for 40 years. My father and I are legal owners and have paid property taxes and kept them current. Legally can we evict my aunt off that part of our land she has been living in or does she have legal rights.

      Hi Melin, this is a common situation and it is not easy to address and because of that my best recommendation will be to get a proper consultation with your Attorney, it will be best if you take all documents (copies) from the property, pictures and any other document regarding the matter. Hope this helps, regards.

      @@melinrod9399 if you have all the legal documents that proof you’re the rightful owner of the property, YES , you can procede legally to evict her. Regards

    Hi Carlos thank you for your time.. Who pays closing cost and what is the percentage?

    • @CarlosGarciaabogado
      @CarlosGarciaabogado  3 года назад +2

      Hi Mara, buyer only should pay the house cost, Notario, and taxes, as I mentioned on the video all fees for realtor etc those are on the seller, realtor should get from 6% to even 10% in some cases, as I said idk why that much... but as “closing fees”, we Mexicans we never pay those, if you’re using credit from a bank that’s different but those fees are from and for the bank... hope this helps, regards...

      Hi Alexis, if you have dual citizenship then you can get your house as any other Mexican, which means you can actually own the house like the rest of us, hope this helps, all the best.
