I'm a big guy 240 lb so I keep my idle at 1,000 also. I've had some of the old school guys tell me that to synch I should drop the idle down to 800. Something about getting a better and more accurate reading at the lower RPM. Just curious to what your thoughts were about that. I finally went out and bought one cuz one of my bikes has got a little bounce in the deck at idle
I want to change my honda valkyrie's carburettor system to electronic ignition. What is the value of the complete dollar system because I am from Brazil. I'll pass your contact on to my friends who have a store. hugs, I await response.
Valkyrie already has election ignition so I’m assuming you meant electronic fuel injection. I have not heard that anyone made such an attempt nor have I heard of a conversion kit. This would be very expensive. It would require machining and fabrication to adopt everything. There are other less expensive ways to get a bit more power out of a Valkyrie. Properly setup carburetors alone do wonders to already super smooth engine
@@sashakrstich6703 it's been done (fuel injectors) but you are right you have to machine the block and put them in then modify the air intake system. They have also been supercharged. The Valkyrie motor wasn't tuned for high performance it was tuned for longevity. These bikes will go for a half million miles properly maintained. But I understand his wish for the fuel injection.....way better mileage would be the most obvious improvement. My Goldwing is 300cc bigger and gets 15 mpg better. And it's heavier to boot.
Well done, good video, thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for the review. Think I'm going to get one.
It’s a very good tool, makes things so much easier

I was looking for a Valkyrie mechanic (I live in NorCal). May I ask where you guys are based?
San Diego. Did you try to find one on Valkyrie forum?
