I love Turkish people ,Turkish recipes, Turkish weather, Turkish language (though I can't understand ),Turkish dramas,Turkish history, Turkish sea,Turkish actors &actresses, everything about Turkey ...LOVe from a Pakistan.....I wish to visit Turkey in my life 😍
What kind of person would give a negative rating on this video??? Your tutorial is incredibly well presented and I've learned so much. This takes much skill and patience, but with a beautiful and I'm sure, a delicious result. Thank you!
@@infinityreaper4652 then just buy the ready made dough. In some places you can't get the dough so she showed us how to make it. It's actually quite an easy straightforward recipe.
this is the swetiest comment i ever read :) in turkey baklava is actualy very special dessert we made it on special days and all womens in the family get together for this :) our face turn white cause of starch or fame anyway you made me smile :))
I used this particular video to enter a bake off competition a couple of weeks ago. Took me long enough but I actually won in the end. I must have watched this video about 30 times haha.
You make the rolling of dough into thin layers seem so easy! I noticed that you put the walnut plain, in Greece we use to mix it with some cinnamon. Thanks for the recipe ,perhaps I'll try to roll the filo by myself after watching you :)
OMG I just finished making this and it came out perfectly!! I couldn't find wheat starch anywhere, so I used potato starch instead. I also used and oval dish instead of a circular one and I was so worried it would come out weird. I also used pistachios, and mixed a little honey in the syrup. This video helped so much!! Thank you!!
I'm guessing the phyllo might be thicker after you bake it, but I would say experimentation is the best way to find out~!! (: if you can find tang flour or cornstarch, those might work as well as wheat or potato starch
Now have a craving for baklava. Even though it was speeded up for the sake of time you could see the love, patience and caring that went into the preparation. Wow.
Just wanted to write a quick thank you note. I followed your recipe and made a delicious baklava today. The layers were so flaky and I added cardamon to the walnuts since its my favourite spice. I was so happy with the results I could not stop eating. lol. Thank you from Jamaica.
wowww, looks delicious and great. a memorable dessert. you made me miss Istanbul now, Hamurabi borek, Duremzade rolls and after that Baklava. will try it for sure. respect n love from Pakistan
Just inf :the origin Turkish dessert belong to Syria and Levant countries..the capital of Baklawa and dessert in Turkey is Gaziantep it was always Syrian Arabic City taken by Turks 90 years ago.. the capital of Kabab and Lahmacun in Turkey is in Adana and it was also Syrian Arabic food.kunafe Sham Kataif allllll from Arab world levant countries.
@Yağız Estay Kara ghazi İntab and Adana were a part of Aleppo state at the time of Ottoman Empire... Baklawa is Arabic Syrian 10000000% it was made in at the time of Ottomans in Aleppo...it was the Turk Shalabi Usta who learned it from Syrian chef in Damascus while in his way to Haj....even Fistk came from Aleppo "Aleppo pastachio"
@Yağız Estay Kara i made these comment for the backward trolls in Turkey who think they are better than Syrians and Arabs.... Arab countries are 5 times richer than your country..let the trolls keep that in mind
@Yağız Estay Kara you got me wrong... because you know nothing 😅 i meant administrative division/ governorates/States....i know that Aleppo and all Syria was under Ottoman Empire.
Your baklava is art! I cant buy baklava in my country so i want to make it by myself, but i dont know if i can make the dough that paper thin as you do. Butter and nuts are so expensive here, then i want neither to fail nor to waste the ingredients. Probably i should just visit turkey ;)

The way you cut the baklava was beautiful. Most people just cut simple diamonds, but the pattern you had in the pan made for a stunning presentation!
