I absolutely love these boots wife brought a pair home to me as a gift because my old boots where 2 years old and had holes in them. Most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn.
I have these boots too and I agree they’re the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. I’ve had mine for maybe 5 years now. I don’t wear them on a daily basis but they’ve only gotten better with age.
I’ve got the elk trackers and I just wipe them off with a wet rag, let them dry, then put the Huberds on and let them sit until they dry the same as you do. And yeah Huberds got a nice smoky smell.
I've purchased these multiple times, I don't ever put oil on em, they'rewaste resistant enough below the tongue. I also find they don't last more than 6 months for me, so the sole doesn't last longer than the leather or stitching, and I'm very rough on my boots. I think they look beautiful, just wipe it with a damp towel.
I know this was 4 years ago buddy but I love my Ashby Irish setters but the most comfortable budget boots I've ever worn are Irish setter wingshooter st
I bought a pair of the non-mock toed Irish setters today, I haven’t bought Red Wings in 20 years the last product I used to protect them was mink oil. The guy at the store today told me to get the natural seal that red wing makes, it comes in nail polish style bottle but bigger and he said I’m basically supposed to paint the boat. Should I use this spray or old-school mink oil what’s the best for me?
Look at the bright side, if you love you some bacon then you could have bacon to go for 3 days if you don't use gloves😁 Nice video..im looking to get a pair of these boots.👍👍
I would much rather get 2 pairs of Irish Setters than one pair of 875, and rotate them every other day. Give that leather time to dry and breath better.
I wear them primarily in the summer months, and I sweat alot, and they do get warm. But I do not think its overly warm. For leather, they seem ok. Not as good as some. Thanks for the comment and let me know if I answered your question correctly. Thanks
I have not I just purchased my first wing shooters yesterday. They told me to use there brand boot oil but I saw allot of other brands out there including huberds.
How comphy are my 838 'Wingshooters'? After 8-10 hr. of hard work I would still wear them to bed. Yes sir! I would, except I'm married and ............

Great boots, most comfortable boots I ever owned. I use saddle soap first, then any old leather cream/conditioner.

Good to hear. I think they are the best bang for the buck out there.

Triple R Thanks for the answer.. I am gonna buy a pair. Because of your video.lol
Have you tried huberds oil or just stick with the grease.
I've only used the grease so far. I have no experience at all with the oil. Have you tried it? I may pick some up just to see how it does.

I ended up grabbing naturseal because they recommended it at the dealer so we will see how it goes.
@@michaelfournier3948 I've heard great stuff about that too. Keep me updated on how it works please.
I use Snowseal on just about every boot I own. I live in Houston, hurricane & tropical storm country, and snowseal keeps my feet dry year after year.

That was painful to watch you use a 940 Osborne to open a paint can
Just a tool my friend.. 👍👍
