Golly. Fun to see your review. Would love to see your top 10 most favourite games of all time.

Thank you! We might consider a top 10 in the future but we think it would have to be - top 10 at the moment 😅 - because it’s changing all time! It’s also hard to pick 10 when we like different games for different occasions and different moods, so it would be a real struggle!

Thanks for your review! I recently purchased Tapestry with Plans and Ploys, and I really liked it. This review made me more certain to get the new expansion 👍 Mange tak!

Selv tak! Thanks for watching! As we said if you already enjoy Tapestry, you really can’t go wrong with getting this expansion as well 🙌🏻

Oh wow. I haven't taken this out of the box yet, but seeing your snapshot of the city mats I realized that there are some Easter Eggs in there!! Have you guys played Cloud City, for example? That said, I hear Farrell's point on bloat and increased income turn delays. Wait for the expanded rulebook - hopefully with fewer nods to concision and more to savoring the rules - because Stonemaier did this with Scythe. They could look to Sleeping Gods for a great example of the reverse. Now I really, really want to play this.

Cloud City is a personal favourite ;). Tbh most of them are really interesting, particularly if you can get a civ that matches!

@@BoardOfItReviews Oops I wasn't clear! I meant the game Cloud City. The mat titles all appear to be Easter Eggs for games. That said, yes, I would dearly love to try the new mats.

Thanks for the review! Did you forget to add the link to the original video by any chance? ruclips.net/video/XANN1AAO8Cg/видео.html
I have been curious about Tapestry. And I would have been tempted to go for the full package to get all the depth and balance (as you recommended). But it sounds like quite a learning curve and navigating between rule books.
I like the way Vindication is coming up with a consolidated rulebook with its next expansion. I think more games should definitely consider that.

Ah thank you for reminding us! Added now. To be honest, Tapestry isn't very complicated to learn so you'll be fine. The expansions certainly use what already exists to great effect rather than making you learn a whole new gameplay element.
Tapestry is actually one of our most played games not because it's necessarily our favourite or the best game, but because it's it a real sweet spot of complexity. It's really easy to play because on your turn all you can do is move down 1 of 4 tracks, so your decisions are always narrow, but then what you do spirals out in complexity to create a strategic game. So it's really great for when you want a strategic game, but don't want to be bombarded with 20 action spaces.

@@BoardOfItReviews That makes sense. Thanks for the added info. It's not like I need a ton of encouragement to get into a new game at the best of times. On the wishlist it goes. :)

    The Gamblers civ is broke.

I could see that, but I've also lapped the board against someone playing as them (in two separate games) 😁 so they don't worry me as of yet.
