@@CarterAndrus ALL DAY LONG. I get that people maybe have hard time with Sub, but like at least experience Yuki Kajis (Erens VA) at least once, he is amazing. And btw.... Dub titans sounds like broken hyenas while sub they actually sound frightening.
I think the Dub VA for Erwin was absolutely great, but this line goes against the inherent image Erwin has in my head. He's this formal, professional, and military person, and even in Japanese he (almost) always refers to himself as 'watashi' instead of 'ore', which is a formal way of referring yourself. So Erwin saying "I said advance goddammit" sounds a little too...American to me. But I guess it works since it's a moment of passion and the VA did a really good job with the emotions!
Even though I prefer the sub 99% of the time, I have to admit Erwin’s English VA is absolutely insane. I actually prefer the dub version of his final charge, as so much energy was put into that speech.
I think it feels more emotional in english. Japanese will pretty much always win in terms of epicness/drama, but the english dub transmits the sadness he feels better. and I think that sadness accentuates the sacrifice more so than epicness.
One thing to point out to that one guy that said it was too “monotone” is that Japanese and English are very different languages, like the amount of syllables. Take the word “kill”, in English, that’s it, just 1 singular syllable, but in Japanese I think its something like “Kurose” or something, that’s 3 whole syllables for just the word “kill”. Which is more to work with for the Japanese actor.
syllable counts are the most overlooked aspect of the dubbing process. we need to think of dubs in the same way we think of songs, where every timing of every syllable completely changes the rhythm and impact.
Exactly. Reason I believe the dub VA's for many animes nowadays are generally pretty good. It's just the syllables of the diff languages tht only affects it for the listener.
This is a very overlooked aspect of dubbing. I can't think of many ways to use the word "kill" so often and meaningfully without it sounding like a petulant child on Call of Duty or GTA. The additional syllables in Japanese allow for stress to be put on the conjugation if you're referring to "him / her / you / them" or on the verb "kill" itself. There's a reason rappers opt for a multitude of alternatives. Using the word "kill" simply does not sound cool nor menacing enough. EDIT: On the note of video games, there's something to be said about our generation disassociating from the word "kill" because of its overexposure in any form of entertainment we consume as children. If we lived in a world whereby fighting meant living and not meant dying, the weight of a "kill" would return.
@@CarterAndrus certain animes like demon slayer are better sub but Aot, D-ball, and imo JJk are better dub. if Dub is good, i prefer it as you can more easily appreciate phrases
@@themediocreprodigy377 So in short, to you all those animes better in dub? Why you bother put "but" in between those anime titles then if all are better in dub
I already know that armin's narrating the story but like mentioning it here.... AOT is once again a masterpiece for me, gave me goosebumps all the time. Might be a SPOILER or what but I'm gonna go and mention it "Armin narrates the story of Mikasa through Eren's perspective." Once again AOT is the goat and I'm really thankful to Isayama for creating this masterpiece.
I would like to know how did you came to that conclusion, I think it supports AOE if you know it. I have read the manga but I don't remember getting an answer for it. Let me share one of my fun weird thoughts: In the beginning I thought it was Hange that narrates the story, I think her voice and Armin's sound similar, and I came up with a weird theory: At the end of AoT we will see Hange closing a book she has just finished writing, taking the bus to her school where we find all our friends from the story she wrote ( which is the anime itself ) We see Teacher Erwin Smith, nerd Levi, Eren and Jean fighting and all the ither characters. Until Ep 12 in season 2 clearly shows that armin is the narrator😂 It applies to armin though🌚 we might see it in an AOE, who knows?🌚🌚🌚
I think you guys would enjoy watching AoT live events where the Japanese VAs perform scenes live with a stadium full of people. You should try it. I get chills everytime.
14:42 Carter and Cannon's reaction to Titan's screams in Dubbed is the same as mine🤣🤣🤣. I never watch dubs, and it’s caught me off guard. Btw, I like these types of videos. Those tiny boards need more appearance. Thank you Studio Gek, for all the hard work in continuing to pump out great content.♥
Eren voice actor is very talent. When Eren transforms,He actually bites his hand. Also, when Eren blood in mouth,He talks while putting bread which he brought in waiting room in mouth. But these are difficult to distinguish unless you are Japanese. And I'm not good at telling. So I want them know this.
As a Japanese person I can fully vouch for Yuki Kaji’s voice acting. The Japanese voice acting field is already an extremely professional and competitive field. Even then, he’s a clear outlier with immense talent. It’s also a plus that Nakano Nino’s voice actor, Rie Takahashi who does Emilia from Re zero, Hu tao from genshin impact, and Megumi from Konosuba-is married to Yuki!
I cant believe yall did not include the iconic mikasa historia speech that went viral and I also would like to see the dub vs sub of the scene where hannes died and eren lost it. for me that performance where he was laughing and crying was one of the best for the sub version of his va.

The Japanese VAs generally put more passion into the characters they play, no matter the emotions the characters have at the time. Subs are forever god-tier.
@sandeepkant1815 I know you're not replying to me directly, but I just would like to point out in addition to what you said that I actually watched it in dub first for like half of season 1, then decided to rewatch in sub and still thought the sub was so much better. The quality of emotions in the sub was so much better despite hearing the dub first 😅
Exactly. i don't think people appreciate original works of artisans enough. They treat sub and dub like its food, everyone has different taste and they pick the visual and choose the audio, like they are shopping for mix and match. It is all in one package like a mona lisa painting or song. The author and his creative works is all of his products. it's like wanting to buy a ferrari, but they prefer to replace inside with a toyota engine. It's like going to an authentic italian restaurant to order pasta, but insist the italian chef to cook maggi instant noodles to them. Sure you can still like that car and that instant noodle for your own taste, but its not the original intention of those who create ferrari and pasta. Dub will never replace original intention and creative works and will always have something lost in translation.
@@dtmt502 Those criticisms just add to his get back imo, it's like everyone called him bratty and cringe then he just decides to kill everyone, "oh yeah? Is my voice bratty? Alright, check this out" At least that's what his s4 voice sounds like to me
If i remember correctly, in the penultimate ep of s2 when mikasa is confronting ymir and historia on reiner's back, in the dub she says to historia "there's only so many lives i can care about. My enemies made that deciding easy 3 years ago. So i want you to choose. Eren? Or the bitch I'm gonna kill?" that line gave me goosebumps she sounded so freaking terrifying.

The show confirms that Armin is the narrator in s2 finale when the narrator starts speaking in 1st perspective and it focuses on Armin. Some reactors catch it and some don't haha i didn't realize it was him until then! This video was really fun and hilarious!
God, I love the Dub so much and I love Eren's english VA but, I definitely have to agree that it's *hard* to hold a candle to Yuki Kaji 😂 that man just makes you feel in the depths of your soul. Meanwhile, Erwin in either sub or dub is just pure perfection imo 🥰
Also some of the reasons why the dialogue is changed between Japanese and English isn’t because of translation issues, but the fact if the line matches with the characters mouth movements. If it wasn’t for that, I’m sure the some of the dub lines wouldn’t be cheesy. (I didn’t find them to be that cheesy)
@@rumfordc hmmm, maybe I’m not up to date with it then. A month ago I watched a RUclips video about Ash’s English VA, and how they had to create dialogue that’ll work with the mouthflaps, and that they didn’t change it, which is why some of the dialogue isn’t verbatim. But it could also be different with other studios
@@Cheesecake069 i looked it up to double check and it says you're right they don't usually update the mouth flaps these days. its just too expensive. i definitely heard about it being tried in the past though. hopefully this will be the sort of thing AI will make much cheaper and more common soon.
@@rumfordc Awesome you always learn something new, and yeah you’re right, with the way AI is moving towards, it just might be soon. Also literally most mature convo I’ve had on RUclips😂
It does kind of feel like they have translation issues sometimes though. Either that or they just decided to completely change things. For example, in the scene in season 1 when Eren protects Armin and Mikasa with the titan skeleton Armin notices that the flowers only survived inside the titan skeleton but the ones outside of it died which he mentions in the sub. In the dub though, the changed his line to, "Flowers? Those weren't there before" which completely changes the meaning of what was happening. Apparently in the dub, Eren can create flowers out of nowhere 🤣
I feel like it’s a little hard to knock on the dub so hard… since it’s a familiar language and is a little easier to decipher the emotions behind the words. It also reminds you that these are, in fact, children going to war with terrifying titans and not just badasses straight outta the gate.
Just so you know english VAs are just as talented as japanese VAs. Me personally, as a dub viewer. When I hear the voices of the characters in japanese I also think they're less good than the one i've been used to.
Wow people have different tastes? Who would’ve thought that. It’s almost like some people like watching in their native language especially in a sun as good as AoT
The 1st time I've heard the dubbed "SUZUME" advance scene I thought the dubbed was cool but then I realized Erwin is cool on how he delivers his speech not because he uses cool words such as "God dammit" 😅

The english voice actor of Erwin is the same who's voicing Okabe Rintarou from Stein's Gate. Honestly he's perfect for both characters. The english dub from Stein's gate is really well produced. It contains a lot more crazy insane monologues like this one.
These timestamps got me rolling on the floor laughing 14:54, 15:45 1) Carter's "eReN" knocked me out 😂 15:50 2) Cannon saying that he could do a better job in the booth 😂 Never a dull moment with Studio Gek
Remembering that Bertholdt was so young, probably my top scene was seeing him come out of the colossal in his pajamas, it just put an insane perspective in my head. It moved me to know how much everyone has gone through, even the "villains" of the show. Amazing show.
Its a shame you guys didnt compare any of Grisha's lines from season 3 and 4, especially in Memories from the Future when he is talking to Frieda and then afterwards when he is screaming out to Eren in the night, and then when he is telling Zeke he loves him. Grisha's sub VA is unbeatable, but the dub one does a fantastic job.
I'd honestly say in some scenes Grisha's dub is just as good if not better. His performance in 3x20 and 3x21 are ones I'd say that are incredible in the dub, and imo I prefer it there
Was surprised at how much they hated the dub. I first watched on dubbed, then twice in subbed. I really love both, I think each have their own flow and the Titan screams reflect that. In subbed the titans sound like large angry people, in the dubbed they sound like wild animals being held down. Both portray different things, which I like. Just my take though, glad y’all are still making AOT content. I wish y’all hadn’t already watched a lot of Demon Slayer, would have loved to see the reactions to Rengoku and Uzui’s fights
Thats how I feel. Now thinking about it the dub scream must sound weird if you've only heard the sub. I still prefer the dub bc I enjoy how unknown the scream sounds. It sounds so eerie and scary and if I heard it in a forest id be more scared compared to the sub.
The dub scream really throws people off if you watch sub first, like them and I. But if you listen to it a few more times, you can get use to it. Still though I like sub scream better because I can feel the anger from Eren.
I know. They’re very biased towards sun and it’s SO annoying. I hate so much when people do that. There should NOT be a competition. English and Japanese are both great
English dubs often sound more dramatic and out of place, but that's because English speakers can actually understand them imo. Apparently, the sub usually sounds similar in this regard for Japanese people. I do think that VA selection makes a difference though, as the industry isn't as big in the US. There are also just certain sounds that native English speakers often have a harder time with.
I originally watched the show in Russian and guys, Russian VAs are sooo good, they literally sound the same as Japanese VAs. But then from the beginning of season 4, I switched to Japanese and was amazed by how good it is. I rewatched it like 10 times in Japanese. And of course Russian one is very good and even better than english one, Japanese is just another level. So no, I don’t get nostalgia from Russian one, Japanese one just erased all the competition
Dude, the Russian VA for Armin is amazing. I swear, Armin screaming in horror from watching Eren getting eaten is even more raw and chilling than the Japanese.
I’ve ALWAYS thought Armin’s dub sounds like he has extremely severe chronic Sinusitis and is constantly whining about it. I feel so seen thank you Carter 😩
No doubt no one can beat Yūki Kaji. He’s quite literally the GOAT. But J Michael Tatum (Erwin) ,Matthew Mercer (Levi) and Phil Parsons (Kenny) are literally so good! They suit their characters very well.
I agree 100% about Eren. Yuki Kaji is the GOAT. There's a reason this man has won an award for literally voicing Eren and no disrespect to Bryce Papenbrook but he's not even close, he really does sound like the Christian Bale forced Batman voice. Some of the higher emotion Eren moments really show you how the two are leagues apart, like the laughing crying speech when Hannes dies.
I watched it dubbed so I'm a little biased towards it. But I can agree the Japanese VA for Eren is on another level. I also love the dub scream of the titan as the sub one made me react the same way the dub did for y'all. I prefer Armin's English VA as I like when they really try to find a guy to voice the guys. It always just hits harder. As for the dialogue being cringe in English, that's because it's your mother language. Songs suffer this too when the lyrics are altered alot of the time. Can't be helped. The same thing is being expressed but the foreign words tickle the ear pleasantly in a way the English ones don't.
I don’t exactly agree here, at least not with AOT. English and Japanese aren’t my mother tongues but I learned both of them. With AOT I think English one sometimes sound a little forced and pretentious in tone. It takes me out of the scene which is why they make me cringe a bit. Japanese one much more less in AOT(still cringe when the dialogue is written weirdly and cringe tho, which is common in anime esp when the character is ‘perverted’)
Yeah I agree I prefer the Dub titan scream. Especially in season 4! It’s so haunting. And I definitely prefer dub Armin in season 4 because I’m like “did Armin just not go through puberty?” with how soft his voice still is lol.
Glad you did this, because the dub is actually really good. At least you can see some of the best moments. Armin's dub scream when Eren got eaten gave me CHILLS the first time I saw it. But, yeah, Eren's sub voice is masterful.
5:09 "Why couldn't Eren control Dina from the future?" ...That's the thing, he did. He used the coordinate to put himself through that hell to give himself those motivations. It makes sense why she was so "right place, right time" For A: Killing Grisha's new wife, B: Killing Hannes, and C: For Eren to come into contact with her royal blood against Reiner and Bertholdt.
sub is better than dub. End of story… BUT, erwins orders after getting his arm chomped off was awesome in the dub. He had one of the good few English voice actors
Fun fact- Levi’s English VO is Matt Mercer, probably one of the most prolific English VO actors in the US! He’s McCree (cole Cassidy) in overwatch, Law in One Piece, Leorio in Hunter x Hunter… his IMDb page is miles long! Easily one of the best English VO actors and just an overall amazing person!
I am Japanese. This video is very interesting and I enjoyed it. 35:20 Kazuhiko Inoue, who plays the role of Willie Tiber, will play the role of yoriichi, a swordsman with an earring in Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is in charge of Kakashi in Naruto. 24:30 If a Japanese voice actor performed the screaming of the thin socks on the right, I'm sure he would have said a line that made my heart tremble. The video distribution is nice socks, everyone is watching.
i agree with carter, Eren's japanese va is so strong that the english just doesnt compare. yuki kaji is the only va ive recognised watching over anime without having to look it up. other than Eren (and the titan screams) I think the dub holds up against the sub better than the majority of anime. a couple, like Erwin, Jean and Levi I actually prefer dubbed. also, if you eve watch Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the general consensus is to watch it dubbed. that show is considered one of the best dubs out there, even better than the sub!
I watched the English dubbed version when I first watched AOT, and that line (on 8:31) still gives me the chills, “Home was a pen. Humanity, cattle.” Levi's speech to Erwin, “Give up on your dreams and charge to your death.” , hits even harder in the dubs (In the subs it was normally “Give up on your dreams and die.”) And there are many epic moments where dubs are better than the subs, and vice versa... But I'd say, in both cases, the voice actors literally dedicated their hearts! Respects for them 🙏
I think something to keep in mind is when the Japanese studio records their audio, they record it before they animate it. However, when it's dubbed, they don't have the same luxury, so they have to match the mouth flaps that were already animated and there isn't a lot of room to express themselves like the original cast could. (Same goes for American animation going to Japanese dub) Not saying one is better than the other inherently, in fact, I actually enjoy both versions of Attack On Titan. They're just different. I am normally a dub watcher, and if there is an anime I am really attached to, going from dub to sub normally gives me the same reaction as you guys had to go from sub to dub. (Not always, but many times) So it's mostly just preference and there is honestly nothing wrong with either! Much love guys!
I thought they animate it before dubbing it in Japan. They have a different approach to do animation than in North America. Don't know if there was an exception for AOT. But as far as I know, anime are always animated first and the voice acting comes in second. The Japanese VAs have to match the mouth movements all the time.
Also, I've heard that Japanese voice actors usually record all in the same room together which makes it easier for them to communicate with each other more fluently and put more emotion into their voices. Whereas, English voice actors usually record separately which makes it extremely more difficult for them to portray emotions and everything realistically.
In the dub version he says "because my soldiers do not buckle or yield when faced with the cruelty in this world". and in the sub "this is our way of rebelling against this cruel world. for me its sub all day but I must say the first one sends more shivers trough my spine.
You guys should react to Eren’s scream in the paths!!! It’s GOATED Yuki Kaji almost lost his chords he had to be hospitalized or he wouldn’t have been able to voice act again how crazy is that!!!
7:28 XD this part got a good laugh out of me. It sounds like Hannes is so drunk that he doesn't even know the Colossal Titan just annihilated half the town. He's like: "think of the possibilities!"
If I could suggest 1 other dub scene, is the one where Armin gets burnt by Bertolt. I just feel the lines delivered by Armins voice actor are really well delivered
Maybe cause I have watched so many anime in dub and sub, i like them both I think both versions have their strong and weak points. I don't partake in the dub vs sub battle, i think it's silly. But I did watch in dub first cause Eren's english VA is the same VA for a lot of my favorite characters in other anime (Rin Okumura - Blue Exorcist, Meliodas - Seven Deadly Sins ..just 2 examples.) so I am biased for Eren specifically. Otherwise, I am glad you guys gave it a chance! Though if you were to actually watch the whole show in dub, it would be better cause you have more time to get used to the differences.
Jack sums it up perfectly at the end of the first episode. The sub voices may be better, but for a native English speaker, truly registering what they’re saying does a lot more than sub watchers think. Watching it in your language makes it hit different.
The original japanese dub was made with Isayama's involvement in it, the one who made those characters, the one understand them the most. Dub it anyhow we can, the delivery never be on the same level with the original
It's a Japanese show, of course it's not going to fit as well when you just slap another language over it. Unless they completely recut the entire show into an English version, which has never been done, then that's just the reality of most dubs. There are some moments (like all of erwins scenes coincidentally) where it does fit perfectly, and the results are obvious. Now imagine the entire show fitting as well as that. That is what a proper English recut would sound like to us English speakers.
Sub all day but the Spanish dub it's 10/10. The voices sound a lot more similar to the Japanese voice actors. I sincerely watched both many times. Best show I ever watch btw great job with all your videos I actually watched from episode 1 and can't wait for the finale. Keep it up guys!

syllable counts are the most overlooked aspect of the dubbing process. we need to think of dubs in the same way we think of songs, where every timing of every syllable completely changes the rhythm and impact.
Also i think the dub voice actor of levi is matt mercer which is a very established english VA. Its just that it hits different with the original
Now we need "anime haters dub Attack on Titan scenes" and see how well Cannon can perform
Oh shoot😳 the pressure is on😂😂😂😂😂

I already know that armin's narrating the story but like mentioning it here.... AOT is once again a masterpiece for me, gave me goosebumps all the time. Might be a SPOILER or what but I'm gonna go and mention it "Armin narrates the story of Mikasa through Eren's perspective." Once again AOT is the goat and I'm really thankful to Isayama for creating this masterpiece.
i dont think this story is about mikasa.
I would like to know how did you came to that conclusion, I think it supports AOE if you know it. I have read the manga but I don't remember getting an answer for it.
Let me share one of my fun weird thoughts:
In the beginning I thought it was Hange that narrates the story, I think her voice and Armin's sound similar, and I came up with a weird theory:
At the end of AoT we will see Hange closing a book she has just finished writing, taking the bus to her school where we find all our friends from the story she wrote ( which is the anime itself )
We see Teacher Erwin Smith, nerd Levi, Eren and Jean fighting and all the ither characters.
Until Ep 12 in season 2 clearly shows that armin is the narrator😂
It applies to armin though🌚 we might see it in an AOE, who knows?🌚🌚🌚
Absolutely embarrassing you think that statement is correct. It's bullshit. The story is not even about mikasa. It's Eren's story. Have shame
There was actually a live dub where Armin's VA was the one narrating
@@Erichiki In the main languaje (japanese) it's the armin VA too

The quality of emotions in the sub was so much better despite hearing the dub first 😅
I think one of the reasons sub was so well received was because Isayama himself was present during the recording and gave advice to voice actors.
Exactly. i don't think people appreciate original works of artisans enough. They treat sub and dub like its food, everyone has different taste and they pick the visual and choose the audio, like they are shopping for mix and match.
It is all in one package like a mona lisa painting or song. The author and his creative works is all of his products.

It's like going to an authentic italian restaurant to order pasta, but insist the italian chef to cook maggi instant noodles to them.

14:52 That "eEuhrun" from Carter caught me so off guard 😂
Also some of the reasons why the dialogue is changed between Japanese and English isn’t because of translation issues, but the fact if the line matches with the characters mouth movements. If it wasn’t for that, I’m sure the some of the dub lines wouldn’t be cheesy. (I didn’t find them to be that cheesy)
i thought they don't do that anymore though? i thought they redraw the mouth flaps
@@rumfordc hmmm, maybe I’m not up to date with it then.

That's how I feel too!! I actually prefer the dub scream because of the feral vibe but I guess it is shocking if you're used to the sub lol
I connect much more with the emotions like how they are voiced and portrayed in the dub, so I agree with you
Yes, exactly. English speakers can't understand the sub so they're way more lenient and don't notice the cringeworthy bits.

Haha it’s for sure what you start with
Agreed. It’s definitely the mother language thing. If they understood Japanese they might say the same thing.
True. Also a lot times the dialogue in anime is just cringe in general.
I don’t exactly agree here, at least not with AOT. English and Japanese aren’t my mother tongues but I learned both of them. With AOT I think English one sometimes sound a little forced and pretentious in tone. It takes me out of the scene which is why they make me cringe a bit. Japanese one much more less in AOT(still cringe when the dialogue is written weirdly and cringe tho, which is common in anime esp when the character is ‘perverted’)

i agree with carter, Eren's japanese va is so strong that the english just doesnt compare. yuki kaji is the only va ive recognised watching over anime without having to look it up. other than Eren (and the titan screams) I think the dub holds up against the sub better than the majority of anime. a couple, like Erwin, Jean and Levi I actually prefer dubbed.

I watched the English dubbed version when I first watched AOT, and that line (on 8:31) still gives me the chills, “Home was a pen. Humanity, cattle.”
Levi's speech to Erwin, “Give up on your dreams and charge to your death.” , hits even harder in the dubs (In the subs it was normally “Give up on your dreams and die.”)
And there are many epic moments where dubs are better than the subs, and vice versa... But I'd say, in both cases, the voice actors literally dedicated their hearts! Respects for them 🙏

The Gaara and Sauske chunin exam fight in English is iconic. Gaara’s scream is unreal. You should react to that later on. If you want of course. :)
It’s GOATED
Yuki Kaji almost lost his chords he had to be hospitalized or he wouldn’t have been able to voice act again how crazy is that!!!
As a bilingual it’s not even close and the ppl who say dub is better are out of their minds😂
Thank you. The my soldier’s rage part isn’t even comparable between dub and sub. The dub fucks up the script for this scene imo
7:28 XD this part got a good laugh out of me. It sounds like Hannes is so drunk that he doesn't even know the Colossal Titan just annihilated half the town. He's like: "think of the possibilities!"
I have watched both the sub and the dub and honestly, when you get used to it the dub isn't THAT bad but it still doesn't beat the sub
Dub it anyhow we can, the delivery never be on the same level with the original
they also screw up many likes in the DUB thinking they can write better than Isayama
@@dtmt502 Na i think its more that the dub has to change certain things to fit mouth movement to work. But AoT is a show that a lot can matter
@@orangedinosaur3546 it doesn’t change much difference if anything the dub has better lines at points
@@CasualCat64 I mean with how Isayama had stuff thought out, dialogue could have mattered in some parts
@@orangedinosaur3546 the message remains the same
Studio Gek is the greatest thing to ever happen to this platform!
We said the same thing!
Sub all day but the Spanish dub it's 10/10. The voices sound a lot more similar to the Japanese voice actors. I sincerely watched both many times. Best show I ever watch btw great job with all your videos I actually watched from episode 1 and can't wait for the finale. Keep it up guys!
spanish often seems to have good dubs for anime. i suspect it has something to do with their history of soap operas.
Armin, Eren and Rainer in Spanish "Castellano" voices man..🥶 ruclips.net/video/GypgcXOvJeg/видео.html
(Don't take the subtitles seriously dude, same meaning but different words).
By the way, have to mention Erwin, Hange, Levi and Zeke voice actors are actually good though).
Declaration of war of Willy Tybur and dialogue between Eren and Reiner.

💯💥🧢🤯
I watched AOT the first time in sub and now rewatching it in dub with my younger brother for his first time and in all honesty the characters dialogue grows on you and definitley feel more emotions considering the language is familiar. Plus Levi is literally Leon Kennedy can't get a much better Dub VA than that.
eren Japanese voice actor is on another level
