I'm gonna be getting my A2 in the next week or two and going to be going from my R125 to getting an MT07, so looks like I'll take the same path as you haha, I did want the R7 but insurance want 3k for it so its off the table.

I've been on an mt 125 for about 2 years and have had so much fun on it, I'm gonna be moving up to my a2 in the next couple of weeks. I'm debating on an r7 and restricting it or an r3 either way I can't wait to move up😂
You'll do great mate, both are great choices but the R7 is the way to go if the moneys there In my opinion. I've always wanted to try an MT-125 haha
@@NathRidesagreed, going to something like an R7 that you can use for your A license later on is gonna save you more money in the long run because you don't end up buying a third bike just for the higher horsepower
I went from a gen3 r125 to a Honda blackbird 1100cc about a year ago I miss that 125 simply for the fuel costs 125 was nearly 200miles a tank for £15 my blackbird is 120miles for £28 😅
The fuel is amazing on 125ccs. £20 would last a month 🤣
i started on 15 on a 250 ktm sxf than went to the road on a MZ 150 now im on my dads fz8 on low power
but im prob buyin mt07-r7 or i might get the mt09

I think the main reason for me to upgrade is the acceptance lol... Honestly, i use my bike to get to work.. Sometimes i go for a ride. In the end i can pass my test and keep the 125 without looser plates. But we both know i will upgrade when possible hehe.
Yeah, yhats why I did my A1 at 17 just to get rid of the L-Plates. Let me know if you go for a test!
I've been wanting to try a kawasaki vulcan or a honda shadow, just to see what that sort of bike rides like vs my gsxr
I never heard of the Honda Shadow, I'll do some research on that. Which one do you think you'll try first, Kawasaki or Honda? :)
