Laura The Doggie Diva exactly, I've been told that I should never allow my service dog play time or any down times. Because, "she's suppose to be working 24/7, 365." I told them don't you get time off work, to go play or relax and sleep? What idiots.
aimee aguilar You're so welcome! I just got a new computer so I can finally post videos again! I have a lot of fun things planned! I am so glad I could help!
We are training our service dog for myself. What paperwork etc do we need to bring to get passed the gates security etc? Would you recommend getting a wagon Incase the dog wants a reprieve from the sun etc
Dennis Girard firstly you don’t not need paperwork, as in the USA there is no actual paperwork. Also you’d need the dog to walk so I’d get dog shoes that are meant for heat.
Majestic Wolf Girls I have never personally had an issue with my service dogs getting too hot from their vest. I imagine it could though especially if you go to Disney World. California doesn't usually get too hot and when it does I wouldn't bring a service dog to Disneyland.
I live in Florida and go to disney world with my service dog. We haven’t gotten a dog cooler yet. You get it wet and put it on your dog. Since, I haven’t gotten one yet I bring a medium size towel that fits around the belly of my dog and get it wet and put it under his vest when he is getting hot. Or i use his easy walk harness and put a leash wrap on the back that says service dog, so he can go vest free.
Yvonne Kass Only highly trained service dogs for the disabled are allowed at Disney. They are not registered or and don’t have IDs. You cannot be turned away however the can ask the two ADA questions
thus far you're the best resource I've found, Laura. Thanks for dropping videos like this.
I agree I hate cocky service dog handlers that put their dogs in risky situations.
yeah, I think people always need to remember they are dogs, not robots.

Thank you so much for this video! Very information and I feel a lot more comfortable for my trip coming up!! :-)

RaisingRipley well thank you for the advice, but isn’t security going to ask for something proving his service status?
Dennis Girard
Yes security will ask the two ADA questions like usual when you go into businesses.
Do u think a vest would be too hot?

Madison Lynette I might see about getting a leash wrap for Snow.
HI what do I need to take to “prove” service? I was denied yesterday
You were turned away? I am going with my dog to Epcot in Florida next week. I’m concerned now because we have no place to board him if needed.

Can you board at Disneyland? Have you ever done this?
Ms SouthCentral
Service dogs must go everywhere with their disabled handler so no.
Can the dogs stay at the hotels?
Hunter Uldrick only service dogs I think.
Laura The Doggie Diva Thanks!!
Hunter Uldrick any hotel has to allow by law any service dogs. They can't require a deposit or a cleaning fee either.
