Man I’ve seen vids of people going to Disney with a SD but never seen the process of getting in! Probably because staff are properly educated. Absolutely wonderful. Guy asked the 2 questions and let you right in! As it should be.
It seems big parks like Disney and Universal have really great disability education and accessibility, Ig you kinda see a lot of it with so many people coming in and out every day.

I brought my service dog Echo to Universal and I would like to say they have AMAZING SERVICE. they had special cues and I got a special agent to escort me into the rides. some of the rides allowed me to bring her on and had special straps for her as well. on rollercoasters she wasn't allowed, so she had to wait for me (when and if I went on the ride. *edit: I only went on one really short rollercoaster*). so yeah 10/10 Universal Hollywood.

I have cousins who are 6 and 4 and i was with them awhile ago and they asked me about petting a dog when they saw it. I saw that it had a vest and told them they could look but couldn’t touch due to them working. When we got back to the house i was able to show them a bit more on service dogs and teach them a bit more about the do’s and don’t when there is someone with a service dog with them. After that they were more understanding about why they can’t touch them. In fact my six year old cousin said when she gets older she wants to be a service dog trainer which i think is a great idea. ❤

hi! i just wanted to leave a comment and let you know i absolutely love this video. i always come back to watch it bc the bond you and your service dog have is absolutely beautiful and it’s so calming to watch! your editing and narrating on the video is amazing as well. the video was extremely informative as well! I am also extremely disappointed with how many guests were so disrespectful to you and your sweet service dog. how do they not understand that service dogs are working and trying to assist their owners?! i was always brought up to respect service dogs to the point i don’t even look at them since i don’t want to throw them off. (even tho i freaking LOVE dogs) when i see a service dog i show my respect. i have a furbaby of my own (she’s not a service dog) but i love her so much and cherish her. she’s also potty shy….to the point even sounds can throw her off and she won’t go potty. so to see the boy GO AND PET HER while she was on her potty break infuriated me. like wtf. lol. i can’t 🤦🏽‍♀️ but other than that i love love love this video! and thought i should share 💘

Thank you so much for showing Pirates and how to get in that ride, and Peter Pan. I have a great dane and I think she'd be fine going on them. When we went last time we took her on Astro Orbiters and she did fine with that and Little Mermaid but we didn't do many rides last time.

I’m bringing my girl to DisneyWorld and Universal in late May-early June. The only bit I’m nervous about is the crates that they put them in during rides. She had a bad foster family who kept her in a crate almost 24/7 unless training. I’m working her back up to being in a crate overnight, and it’s going well, but she’s always with me. I also used the DAS pass at disneyland (before I got her) because of my dizzy spells and extreme anxiety and panic disorders (which are two reasons why I have her).

It is so lovely to see how polite and educated all the staff are, just annoying about all the kids petting without asking ! I had no idea there were so many potty areas too ! I thought there would only be about 3 areas around the park ! Are there specific bins for when they've been potty or do we just use the nearest normal bin ?

@@djgamerpon3 That's good. When we went to Disney I literally had people try and stop me almost every other minute it was horrible. I just started ignoring them and kept walking. What really got me ticked was people trying to get me to stop and pose with them like I was an attraction myself. I was tired after one long After Dark Event and clearly looked like I was in pain while walking out and this woman was like I want. a photo of you and my kids and I just yelled at her. I didn't even care. Just be ready to be mean if needed when you're there and ignore people. We're going back for a week in May. Hopefully it'll be a better experience this time, yet I'm not holding my breath.

So, I have a small service dog in training currently. She does Cardiac alert. But I think I have pots. I’m not sure we are going to have me tested soon. If I end up having pots then I want a bigger service dog for mobility work.
    (My reason)
When I stand up sometimes my heart rate rises and I get dizzy and even can lose my balance and have trouble walking and thinking straight. And my dog currently is too small for mobility.
So if I have pots I’m going to get a dog for that task. And I am thinking of a golden retriever. Would you think a golden retriever would be suited for that?
