    To Johan:
I think you stance is too "flat footed" and thus makes the rotation somewhat slower (I have the same issue, not athletic in my stance). Also a slight rounding will affect the speed me thinks. BUT although exit speed is important, it is only 1 of at least 3 major components if the goal is to throw far! I'd say it is far more easy to try to add the other components than to try to (just) add more exit speed onto the disc.
    The other 2 are:
    1. Spin of the disc; a faster spinning disc flies longer (a faster spinning object falls slower, think of an helicopter)
    2. Angle of the disc; non optimal angle of the disc will generate wind drag or downforce (like the rear wing of a formula car, pushing the back tires into the ground for better grip)
It is hard to tell from the video but it seems you already have got some good spin on your disc (based on hand placement on the reach back). Angle is another thing that you probably know better yourself. Another thing that I have noticed is the importance on how clean the disc leaves your hand. It was first when I filmed in slow motion that I noticed some of my throws had severe disc wobble, which is a speed killer since it is like pulling the handbrake for a millisecond multiple time during an acceleration.
    My 2c on the subject.
Edit: look at this video by Master Simon Lizotte: ruclips.net/video/Fwj7B3jGwUU/видео.html
Here they throw both the same speed with the same disc and Simon throws the disc over 20% farther than the other guy! The delta might be even more severe depending on your form (the guy in the video is not bad..). That is, exit speed is not everything although obviously important!
Edit2: I'd say Simon's form is as good as it gets. So you can measure your form/technique by comparing a 60mph throw to Simon (if you get close to 380ft, you're probably quite good) 😀

Just a heads up, Raivis Markons-Craig was unintentionally causing air bounce in his throws, which was the biggest factor in his reduced distance. It's a known issue and he's aware of it. That said, there's certainly a level of perfection Simon has that nearly nobody else has, in terms of biomechanics, training, and experience, so only a handful of pros can really match him for the level of effort to distance. 🙂

@@NickCarroll Yeah, I guess no matter how good you get, there is always something to improve. I saw a video where Ezra said he still working on nose angle and trying to improve efficiency. Imagine that :D
Gannon is another pro player who's form I really admire, it looks so effortless when he throws.
Regarding exit speed, loopghost yesterday enligt me that timing is absolutely crucial! If done correctly, you will get an multiplier of around 1.4 on the disc exit speed. So if your arm moves 45mph, exit speed of disc would then be 60mph. Have not yet figured out how to tell if timing is spot on or not though yet, perhaps need to film from above?

Johan here, you said may name right at 5:58 XD I am a swedish player, thx for the kind roast, i can throw around 100 meter 330 feet at standstill, so you say my problem is overreaching that is an easy fix"i think",👍, and i also need to work on my brace that is a bit tougher tho, what order should i work on, i tried to start the throw with left leg today and i get more shoulder turn then ,,well sometimes, anyway i work on my 90 degree arm with your robot drill, i understands even more when you coach your brother on robot drill, i have been strong arming for 18 years now, also is the shoulder important to be straight to get centripetal force, also when you show the power pocket robotdrill with brother, isn't the power pocket at left shoulder? when you throw the disc and show how to do it your pocket is at center of chest, at slow mo, thx for good content keep em coming...btw i send view from behind because it said so at the form submit page, power pocket is my biggest consern because to work on something you need to know how to do it and then just do it over and over again, thx again 🙂

      Yo yo! So glad!
Watch our video on bracing. I’d do that next.
You are hitting the powerpocket well! So we’ll and you’re getting the sling effect. 100%.
Thanks for being on the show!

Wow, such a great idea to give reviews for free. Amazing. Am i allowed only one video? If so, which take is the best? Sideways? From the back like Johan? Im student of ur course, apporaching double move, but not incorporating it yet, so i was thinking about posting video in form to maybe spot bad habits early and eliminate them, im 1,5 month old disc golfer lol ;), have great day!
