As a recording engineer, I can tell you that the jingle session scene at 2:05 is more of a documentary than a scene out a movie. The scenes dealing with idiot clients are the most compelling things in this film.
i luv this movie when i was young i repeated always i rent this vcd or dvd three times a day s since 1984 but i found it this video today im realy liuv it thank u very much
this movie came out in may 1978 and i met him feb 1978...from the moment i saw it, it was indelibly printed upon my heart and in my soul. thank you joe brooks and rest in peace.
met my first love at 15 at the game steve and bob are playing...at disneyland at ten to midnight! we're still trying to make it work...i too am in california and he's in massachusetts! wow!
this movie would probably npt be as memorable for many of us without the lovely, ethereal shelley hack... she more than adequately embodied that dream girl who got away.. shelley was made an scapegoat for the skidding show that was "charlie's angels" but the nasty rumors and negative publicity notwithstanding, she imbued tiffany welles with class, humor and warmth... and she totally earned her angel wings by the end of the 4th season... big mistake to replace her with the wooden tanya roberts!
thirtysomething was not a "big hit". If you look at that show's ratings throughout its four-year run, the highest it ever scored was 41 in the Nielsen's. Like many TV series that struggled with low ratings, it was a critical success and won many awards but was a ratings flop.
I loved this movie when I was younger- - - thank you for posting it!!!!!

Boom mike visible just before the 1 minute mark.
Lovely Shelley Hack!!!
The much maligned Tiffany Welles in "Charlie's Angels"!!!
She Also did a commercial for Charlie, a women's fragrance back in the 1970s
that is why there is chocolate and vanilla...I liked it. Perhaps Star Wars is more your speed.

I just read of Joe's suicide. Just sad.
Shelley Hack’s voice reminds me of young Jessica Lange.

this is about the music...which is fantastic....you obviously watched it...ask yourself WHY
This part is even more like "thirtysomething" than the first part. Now how come thirtysomething was a big hit and this wasn't?
Cause the guy who starred in this movie is terrible at acting and now we know he was also a serial rapist.
