Garmin should take notes on the running form assessment...
Just got my Pace 3 two weeks ago and I've been loving it.
Thanks was looking at the Pace 3.
Coros is a very innovative brand and attentive to users, features and more features.
Now if they could just make a bicep heart rate monitor that tracks my sleep. I'm tired of wearing a watch to bed.
They should focus on a much better analysis of the training effect, status and readiness…as well provide report with suggestions, training suggestions and redefine the terms used on the training status..
Nice update. Are you still doing an update for the Suunto vertical?
Is HRV constantly monitored now with the update?
Coros keeps getting awesome, they just need to have more digestible / easy to understand "Summary/Analysis" of their data plus the Recovery metrics - at least from my needs. But nonetheless their watch particularly Pace 3 is quite good for runners.
And of course, I hope this push Garmin to deliver more features later on. Win win for consumers!
Hi there, we are glad to hear you are enjoying COROS thus far. We'd love to better understand your feedback, can you share a little more about how we can have more digestible and easy to understand analysis of data?
@@COROSGlobalThanks for checking my comment. Below is my high level thoughts based from Pace 3 I'm using...
1. Training Load, would be great if there 4 weeks comparison and see if you're increasing or decreasing
2. Training Status, more elaborate what are those numbers are. What needs does it mean from my overall health. More information would be great
3. Recovery, this one requires lot of improvement. Mainly it needs to consider Quality of Sleep, Stress whole day etc.
4. Running Fitness, what are those numbers? Are those good or bad? Is it improving or how I can improve it?
5.Heart Rate and Resting Heart rate should be combine into 1 tab.
6. Sleep, this also requires rework. At minimum tell if you Sleep is consistent from getting to bed and waking up. Did you reach the goal of at least 7 hrs sleep.
7. Weight, at minimum should provide the average BMI and recommended normal weight.
And to add up, the Strength training seems to not properly calculating my Anaerobic TE and Training load. It should be different calculation altogether from running as its puts heavier burden to body.
I'm hoping and still rooting for Coros to massively grow someday and became real competitor of Garmin in terms of features.
Hello, i quite appreciated your review of the suunto peak 9 pro. Im currently looking for a fitness/smart watch in that price segment
Iv been looking at the Suunto race vs Coros pace 3 I know theres a price jump but I think heart rate accuracy is more important than a nice screen and maps. Been debating this for a while with the pros and cons of each watch. But any guidance will be appreciated. Currently looking at the coros pace 3 as the go to option. What do you or anyone else thinks?
Coros have released nice features update for sure, but what about its GPS performance of, e.g. Apex 2 Pro watch? Has it improved as well over the time or is it just as subpar as it was around the time of its release?
Coros looks really good with the updates. Still cannot decide if I like a Garmin or a Coros better for my new watch
That assessment processing is hot! I'm on the hunt for a new watch. I've avoided Coros because I'm paranoid (just a little) about where my data goes. Samsung has similar processing and I'm pleased with it, but I'd like to trend my data over time. Coros has the analysis and the trends. 🎉😊
can you expand on your comment?
@@Damen0530 COROS Wearables Inc. is a Shenzhen-based Chinese company, and as a wearable manufacturer they collect a ton of personal data and information. According to their privacy policy they don't necessarily sell this data, but it's hard to know what else they are doing with it and what data might wind up in the hands of the PRC government.
China wants his running data
I was wondering if anyone was going to mention my concern. Coros is based in China and as such can't really be seen as separate from the CCP (it's just how it works there). So wearing a devise that sends loads of personal data, at least through Chinese servers. Is one of the reasons I would not use it. Lots of noise around Huawei but little around Coros..
appreciate the info!@@ian-mucarruthers441
Does it have a skiing feature?
Is stress test the same as HRV?
I have Pace 3, how to update?
I have a pace 3 paired with my pod 2, but I don’t see “ground time, l/r balance, or stride ratio. All I see on my activity report is stride length, any idea how to get those other data fields on activity report? Does it only show those additional data fields on the run form test, or does it also show on a normal run all those stride/contact time measurements?
Are you using the POD 2 on your waist or your shoe? support.coros.com/hc/en-us/articles/9845995763988-Advanced-Running-Metrics-Explained
@@DesFit well that explains it, thank you. I will try on my waist now, wonder if there is any benefit to putting the sensor on your shoe since a lot more metrics come from waist placement…🤔
More responsive pace reporting can be a bigger benefit while wearing it on the shoe
I have coros pace 3, i just want to ask How do i update my firmware? Thanks

Garmins could really use a crown or something to scroll with. I loved that about my old Samsung with their awesome rotating bezel
I was just thinking the opposite. It would be nice if companies such as Coros and Amazfit would get rid of that ugly pointless crown.
Yes!
Hey, do you still do omad/intermittent fasting?
Yup, works well for me
Isn’t Coros just taking heart rate data every 10 minutes though?
It does every 10 min when your not in an activity, when your in a workout its tracks it every second or so. Not sure how it often it reads when your sleeping but for workouts its def very frequently taking readings.
If it’s only taking HR data every ten mins how useful is stress management?
@@AURORA___SLAYZS that is a good point…. Not sure how accurate it is in that department.
@@AURORA___SLAYZS stress taking every 5 min, so it's will replace the regular 10 minutes HR taking
That is the kind of homework that you should be copying @Garmin, nobody cares about UI updates, we want new features.
but garmin already has stress tracking (even on my FR245 which is kinda old)
@@rudidupstill a new feature for Coros watches , that’s all I was saying.
