You MUST have won the modelling contest with this. I've never seen a kit that looked this good. Amazing attention to detail and kudos for having the courage to go beyond movie specs and make it look really real!
you r something else, after seeing your enterprise, why are we not surprised this is just the best, i have seen and i have been modeling 50 years my best mike,,
Great work, looks like a studio model I am not a model builder, I am an artist and you have really inspired me to do something, you must have inspired lots of people with your meticulous work and attention to detail Very very well done
Dude just wanna say what a phenomenal job you did on the Falcon. I have that same model kit and still have a ways to go. You have a true piece of art there. Great job.
I just ordered a 90s version of this and I'm totally stoked! I've done some practice painting on a couple small cheap toys to get an idea of colors so I hope this works out!! Yours looks great BTW !!!
Hi Michael, very impressive work on the Falcon. can you make a tutorial as to how to do the support rod? or maybe just letting us know the parts to buy to try to build one? thanks!
If you want to check out my Falcon and see the weathering I did please feel free. She is on my channel in the video called my models the tour. Looking forward to hearing your opinions.
Amazing job. Wish I could send you mine (I have the same kit.) I lack the skill and patience to even come close to this. Beautiful. I wish this model had the 5 landing gear legs like the models in the movie though.
Good lord! You really out did yourself with this incredible build. I must say it again..Best Millennium Falcon I have EVER seen. Truly a jaw-dropper!!!! Which weathering video were you referring too. Ficth n foo, I think I need to watch that one as well. Would you send me the link? Thanks, again, stunning work!!
Interesting attention to the engine. Most modelers would just put photo etch and that would be it. What was the biggest headache did you have on this model?
That's totally amazing! How did you wire the lights!?! Is it fiber optic cable, and combination led.... I would love to try this concept on so many different type if models. Congratulations on an awesome build.
I hope Bandai makes a cut-away version of thier Falcon at some point. I like the idea of the Ertl kit, but it isn't very nice to build. I have two of the kits left, one normal and one cut-away, both new in box, but I just can't make myself build those when I still have Bandai kits to build.
Wow that came out great! You're right on that PE, really knocks it over the top! The canopy glass is a nice technique. Very ice work on the interior. Me?!? Thanks! Seeing yours, I gotta get mine MF going. Cheers! :) I like your interior better than mine. Much cleaner, tighter look. Base is a nice tough. Like how you did the tray. Is that an XLR jack for the power on the bottom? Oils rule! nice combo using the pastels. Now I'll be using your work reference to finish mine! :)
First off you did an amazing job. Need to know about how you connected the model to the rod, it looks like there is some kind of electrical connector there. Can you give me any instruction on how you did it? Thanks
***** I did watch that, question I have is what kind of connector did you use between the rod and MF? You said it was an audio connector just can't make out what it is.
I gotta hand it to you man. This is the most beautiful falcon model I've seen on the internet. And I've watched them all. It even puts the official screen prop to shame. The weathering you have done is remarkable. Its JUST right. The perfect medium. I'm so fucking jealous haha! I just subscribed to the "build the millennium falcon" model kit they have and I REALLY would like an in depth process on how you did that weathering. Spot fuckin on man. Do you have anything processes you could give me on achieving that balanced look? I'd really appreciate it man. Rock on. Its fucking breath taking.
Looks exactly like the Deagostini: Empire Strikes Back 1:! Scale Replica Prop. Retailed in full around £899.99 To get all 100 Issues to complete it, at £8.99 Each.
The darker areas on the model (in the final movie) are a result of over saturating the model with light, hard light, and over exposing the shot resulting in darker shadows in the recesses of the model, high contrasting values, the model has to be flat value of grey, and dark grey for it to remain less then totally white on camera. Much different than that of a shelf center piece.
You MUST have won the modelling contest with this. I've never seen a kit that looked this good. Amazing attention to detail and kudos for having the courage to go beyond movie specs and make it look really real!
I'm totally blown away. This is the BEST Millenium Falcon I've ever seen....seriously better than a studio model. Wow
you r something else, after seeing your enterprise, why are we not surprised this is just the best, i have seen and i have been modeling 50 years my best mike,,
Great work, looks like a studio model

Dude just wanna say what a phenomenal job you did on the Falcon. I have that same model kit and still have a ways to go. You have a true piece of art there. Great job.
Thanks!!
Dude! You are an artesian! Just love the colours and paintwork for the cutaway interiors. The lights are Epilepsy-inducing lol. Well done :)
Absolutely superb, The best Falcon I've ever seen.
Very nice job. The lights really bring it to life! I did this kit and it was a lot of fun to build and add greeblies!
Beautiful job, sir! I can't believe how well this turned out. Thank you for the buildup videos!
This turned out amazingly good! Looks better than some of the Fine Mold's Falcon's I have seen! The interior is incredible! Great job!
I just ordered a 90s version of this and I'm totally stoked! I've done some practice painting on a couple small cheap toys to get an idea of colors so I hope this works out!!
Yours looks great BTW !!!

The only thing missing now is a soundtrack, a star field in the background, and engine sound effects :)
That is just jaw dropping good!

Interesting attention to the engine. Most modelers would just put photo etch and that would be it. What was the biggest headache did you have on this model?
I am going to do this with my big Legacy one.
That's totally amazing! How did you wire the lights!?! Is it fiber optic cable, and combination led.... I would love to try this concept on so many different type if models. Congratulations on an awesome build.
Awesome work! where did you get the lighting system for the cockpit? those look authentic are amazing
If you want to check
Do you have any website with still pictures of this fantastic model...to look closer the interiors, thanks.
Nice work. Can you tell me where you got the engine vents and how did you do the rear engine grill?
Thanks
Cool! But im wondering - are those canopy lights LED or optic cables?
What electrical plug connection did you use for the millennium falcon

***** Thanks man, I have to say this is quite a project. Hope it looks half as good as yours.
I gotta hand it to you man. This is the most beautiful falcon model I've seen on the internet. And I've watched them all. It even puts the official screen prop to shame.

awesome!
How did you manage to bend the rod without kinking it ?
I love the model! But the holes in the front are a little too big if you ask me, but thats just my opinion :) keep up the good work!!
What is the model kit please as have the Bandai one

Should of talked more about the light setup
I did in the previous 10 construction logs. Please try and pay more attention in the future.

"I have 15 minutes and I'll use every second of it"....... You missed a second. Just saying.
