      I'm not kind of a youtubefollower, but i like you're way of travelling. Let mi give you small advice- if you want to show something different from Poland (I'm Talking about something different than other youtube-travellers)- JUST GO TO LOWER SILESIA!! It's not far away from Wrocław. Go to Wałbrzych, go to Bardo and try middle- century Bardo gingerbread. Go to Kamieniec Ząbkowicki and explore Palace of Marianne Orange-Nassau- It will blow away youre brains and asses. Just tak the map an choose place.

He will give you rose and then ask for money as you all ready holding rose. Do not take anything from any one, or gold ring trick. They arriving to Poland and start doing this some what they doing in Italy, Paris etc. Tifs.

    Yes. Visit Torun. One of the oldest and original settlement towns in Poland and lots of culture to explore.
    Cities in Poland are all so different due to being surrounded by other countries. You end up with diverse and mixed culture blending. If you go east Poland is more historically russian whereas Wrocław seems more western and German by influence…. Go down south and it’s more Slovak influenced. Poland is a very mixed country as bordered by 8 countries. 😎👍

      @Greenlandmaan 2 года назад +8

      Actually the biggest zoo in Poland is Gdańsk Oliwa Zoo. But anyway Wrocław Zoo is definitely the most influential polish zoo. First case is the long history connected with German empire, soviet era (Gucwinski's personality who promoted knowledge about animals in generations of our fathers and grandfathers), second - location in the most atractive area in city close to Odra riverbanks, Centennial Hall complex and beautiful Szczytnicki Park. The last and the most important for me part is that the zoo is still devoloping and is truly angaged in wildlife protection (good example is that previous zoo director dr R. Ratajszczak is working abroad in many research project in Asia, or Dodo organization which origin from this zoo)

    You can visit the miniature park in Kłodzko- (Minieuroland - about 90 kilometers from Wrocław) and then go 30 kilometers to the Stołowe Mountains
    It is also worth visiting Masuria and Warmia, the city of Giżycko and the small town of Mikołajki - there are many lakes and many boats
    Coming back from Masuria, you can see the world's largest brick castle in Malbork, and then go to the tricity.😊👍

    I used to be a tour guide here, and I have to tell you that this just covered approx. 4 square kilometers of the very centre, a "must" see, but there is a lot more if you wish to stay. Nevertheless, big thank you for this video! Although watching this made me feel like at work, I'm soo happy that you have enjoyed it. Feel invited again! Cheers!

    What you see when you travel in Poland is a modern country but, you are so inclined, you can look behind the facade and you will see the signs of the country's tragic past. You actually travel through the Bloodlands, that part of Europe where foreign armies moved in and out with depressing regularity. A country with moving borders. A country of genocide, ethnic cleansing, partitions and occupations by hostile powers.
    You may walk though a park or a housing estate and it may actually be located at a former Jewish or German cemetery which was demolished during or after the war. Wroclaw, Szczecin and Gdansk were inhabited for centuries by Germans. And all Polish cities were actually Polish and Jewish.
    Even now when you walk through the crowd in the Market Square in Wroclaw, when you hear Russian spoken, it may be a Ukrainian refugee who just arrived from Mariupol or Kharkiv.

      You are right, but we can change our future, making it different from the last poor 300 years of the history.

      @@pawelp8307 Indeed. According to Renan, nations are built on forgetting their past. National solidarity in Poland was built on forgetting rigid class and social divisions between peasants, gentry and aristocracy. Regional divisions are not important any more, either. Poles are now friends with Germans and Ukrainians, despite centuries of enmity.

    If you are still in Wrocław it is great opportunity to visit Sudety mountains. It is close from Wrocław. You should see Stołowe mountains especially Szczeliniec and Błędne Skały. There are also many beautifull resort towns like Kłodzko., Karpacz, Polanica, Kudowa or Szklarska Poręba. Not many foreign tourists know and visit this places.

    And you're right. It's the best Polish city 😊
