Hi everyone! So grateful for all your views and comments. I hope this video has been helpful to you. I recently changed my branding which is why the top left corner is blurred out. I didn't want to change the video and lose all my amazing views ;-) Remember that I give lessons in Reading, London and online and you can always ask me questions.
You’re going to have to explain what you think you’re doing, and what you think the result is for the patient. Because it looks like you’re simply looking at someone lying down, speaking gently to them, touching them here and there, raising limbs and setting them down with tiny adjustments to their positioning, and then declaring that you both have done important work.
@@CasperLCat Have you looked at my other videos? They might give you a broader view of the Alexander Technique. I can’t explain it all in one video. This is just a part of it. But I will update my information to show where you can find out more about the Technique. There are teachers all over the world. If you would ever like to try a lesson I give a free 30 minute video consultation.
@ I’m watching the YT video of Jane Kosminski working with William Hurt as an Introduction to Alexander Technique. Her explanations, and his specific questions, are the kind of thing I meant.
@@CasperLCat An excellent video, but also a full length feature. It’s impossible to explain the whole thing in one short video made for modern attention spans. It takes three years to train as a teacher and even after that it takes several lessons for us to impart just some of it to a pupil. Everyone’s journey is different. But I will certainly take your comments on board as we are all trying to improve our communications. However, we will all agree that the best way to understand the Technique is to take lessons yourself. ☺️
This is so relaxing. Your voice just radiates calm.
Cornholio has always had some tension to work out...I'm glad he's finally getting the help he desperately needs.
😂 Most underrated comment of the year.
Are you threatening me?!
For my bunghole
This has major Diana vibes. Could you be the one prophesied to truly free the neck? I hope so. Looking forward to more videos like this!
Only you can truly free your own neck, if you so desire :-)
Thank you :-)

Absolutely relaxing. Unintentional ASMR ❤
Thank you! Xx
Was that the Villan guy from doctor Who?
Well ‘No’ is a key word in Alexander Technique. So he could be Dr No.
New ASMR classic dropped
@@chrislowery719 The Alexander Technique often has unintended consequences!

My gut tells me that this is an astonishing horse shit way to say “be mindful of your posture” but I’m falling asleep.
I’ve got a finely tuned horse shit radar but this works :-) Even better if you try it for yourself with a teacher.
Dressing all in black is too culty.
Dial it back you are in danger of worshipping space comets
HAHAHAHA! Who says we don't worship space comets? Black is what touring musicians wear. It doesn't show the dirt :-)
Can you use a Kindle instead of a book?
You would have to have a stack of Kindles to get the required height ;-)
