@ mine was a 1990 silver I had it from 2011 to 2023 I would have kept it longer but the plow wrecked it. And then I did so much work and it was still all smashed up. Ended up selling it for more than I paid for it despite being smashed.

I know it's frustrating, but stuff happens. You have given us so much valuable information over the years. If I had known about you six years ago I would probably still own my '97 LS400. The fuel pump went out and the repair turned into a nightmare. My wife didn't trust the car after that and I sold it, I have regretted it ever since.
I enjoy this video because, as a gen1 owner; parts are getting harder to find and repair, I need to do engine mounts, need to find a source for rear upper control arm bushing, and any additional information about this car and to keep it running reliably the better. Cheers to another year for TCCN.

I only could afford one camera and always worried that a camera problem was going to be a disaster for me and the wedding party. Remember, those days were real film (not digital) so you didn’t know you had a problem until you developed the film.

Well, everyone has said it - don't be upset about the lost episode. Everyone who has a computer or smart phone or any kind of technology has had it go wrong at some stage. Everyone has made a mistake with technology (not that this was your mistake!). We all sympathise with your frustration, but we all know things like this happen. Many RUclipsrs would have tried to cover it up - made up an excuse why they "decided" not to film that part. Your honesty in telling what really happened just brings more respect your way! Louis sent me. I'm a 30+ year veteran of the auto repair industry. Now teaching auto mechanics at the local community college. German cars are my thing, but Toyotas of this era are especially great. Do me a favor though and please spot the cars on a lift while performing underhood maintenance and repairs. Bent over as you are, your lumbar vertebrae are slowly getting wrecked. Its why I'm teaching now and not wrenching. Best regards.
Make sure you reformat your SD cards regularly to help prevent these issues. If you format it one a month for high use that’s plenty. It extends the life of the SD card and helps prevent corruption.
I enjoy all the content you have put out. I've been subscribed since March 2021 right after I bought my 4runner. I believe I have watched 97% percent of the content. Runs like a top with working AC. I have goals to fix all this for the new year! 😅

I am a DIYer done lots of mechanical work on my old cars and my dad's with him. I have changed spark plug wires on old GM V8, it's fascinating how complex that setup is with the firing order and routing of the cables duel distributer system. And yes continue doing videos like this.

Sure these things happen, but there is the initial disappointment, but you are right, as long as everyone is healthy that’s the main thing. It’s ironic though, one of the other channels I watch on RUclips had the same thing happen last week. His SD card went bad and like you he had used it for years. Just keep on presenting your good educational videos.

Had problems with SD cards, too. Like hard drives, if you really want it, back it up not once but twice on different drives. Your show is always informative. Thanks so much.

Sure these things happen, but there is the initial disappointment, but you are right, as long as everyone is healthy that’s the main thing. It’s ironic though, one of the other channels I watch on RUclips had the same thing happen last week. His SD card went bad and like you he had used it for years. Just keep on presenting your good educational videos.
