I had been listening to this groove for a while, hadn't even thought about it being a loop, or loop-able, but that's the genius of FKJ right... 😍
Also... this song came out of a spontaneous collaboration between the two. Lots of one takes with basic ideas and looping skills. EPIC.

It is Ableton on the Laptop with an Akai APC 40, Native Instruments Maschine and a Novation Launchpad. Not sure if he was using the Maschine or the Launchpad, but it definitely looks like the APC 40 was the main controller.

That looked like Ableton in the audio setup on their laptop when you paused the video. I’m by no means an expert though and I’ve no idea how they managed to get multiple loops going on it without spending loads of time tinkering.
