You're right, the older models had more lights. ruclips.net/video/RC6IC6Zcc38/видео.html Honestly, I actually prefer the lights and graphics of the older models. Before I go into my opinion, here's the setups in detail: 2 blue Whelen M6 on every side of the box + 2 additional amber M6 in the rear. A shorter Whelen Justice lightbar on the top as well as 4 Whelen LINZ6 in the front area. The new units still have 4 LINZ6 in the front. The only thing in the front now is the Justice lightbar but it's a long version. At the left and right sides of the box are just 2 Whelen M6 and in the rear they just have the integrated BAUS standard lights - the biggest downside of the units. The old setup (referring to where they mounted the lights) actually is the american minimum/ standard setup for ambulances. The front is definitely comparable I think. On the old units I really liked the Justice lightbar and M6 on different positions in the front. The M6 are the brightest lights available today. The long Justice lightbar on the new units is definitely a damn bright lightbar too! Would be even better and brighter with the Liberty II or Freedom IV :D (but those are more expensive as well) What I definitely miss is the M6 at the sides of the rear and the 4 M6 (2 blue + 2 amber) in the rear. There's such an extremely huge difference. I think the new units are slightly wider aren't they? Personally I wouldn't say the the Czechs have the biggest ambulances. Their current ambulances vary between VW T6 vans, T6 box units, Sprinter vans, Sprinter boxes and Crafter vans. Even though the Sprinter (or any other chassis) as box ambulance is quite common for multiple European countries. A few other European countries have for example MICU vehicles based on truck chassis (I instantly think of Germany). Also got some videos of those. In terms of lights the Czechs definitely have some of the best ambulances in Europe. I admired Madrid's EMS units when they had red-amber. But the Czechs can use red-blue now so that's another big plus for Czechia :) The Czechs used to drive and still drive a lot of Volkswagen T4, T5 and nowadays T6 as ambulances. ruclips.net/video/L8QXIj2qdgU/видео.html + ruclips.net/video/DCgIhc-hR-I/видео.html as well as normal Sprinter like this one ruclips.net/video/RbnIeoHf1is/видео.html - oh and here's the new version with red-blue lights ruclips.net/video/OfzLl6Fd9gw/видео.html
EPIC catch! Especially in Europe!
Thank you!
Wow! This is the rarest mechanical Q siren to hear in Europe!
It’s not a mechanical Q, it’s Whelen’s mechanical tone.
they use the most interesting sirens!XD
All I say is that lots of EMS vehicles in Czechia could use up to 65 siren tones :D Wooohoooo Whelen :D
@@Rummeltobi yes!XD
Great catch!
Thank you!
Nice!
Thank you
Nice lightbar
Nice!!
Nice video! The older models used to have more lights. Am I right? :D
Yes, the rear lights on the older units were much better. From the front it's comparable I'd say.
@@MrOndrejB They used to be also a bit taller if my eyes don't lie.
Nope, the height is the same. The new units are just a bit bulkier, so they don't seem as tall.
@@MrOndrejB Thanks for the info. Btw Czechia has the biggest and the best ambulances in whole Europe tbh.
