Yeah because an evil Batman could conquer the world. He has beat superman and almost all justice league members if not all. He has a contingency plan for everything and I imagine that he has one for the world
I also think Alfred's death lead to his flawed idea of justice. Alfred acted as a father figure for bruce and was probably the reason he did fairly well after his parents died, but with Alfred dying, Bruce had no one to guide him through his childhood and deal with his trauma
Theory: My guess is that since Batman lost his parents and butler, he has no family to turn too and is trying to make his own family by kidnapping people. From what we gathered, the victims are still potentially alive as we learn that Batman is using Venom on them alive + we hear knocking at 28:16 when those coffins are on camera, which can indicate they're still breathing. To add to that, Batman splash's text saying "They Are Family Now", which those coffins could serve as a container for the victims experiencing the Venom and who are slowly changing. Changing into a member of Batman's new family. Another thing that adds to this theory is that earlier when Batman kidnapped that one dude who had no family, Batman showed sympathy to him. Instead of outright experimenting on him (possibly forcing him into being a family member), Batman asked him to join him and fight "crime". This could show that Batman knows that both of them are in the same boat with no one to call family, so he offers his victim a passive, nonviolent opportunity to join his makeshift one he's been working on.
I have another theory: in original storylines, Dick Grayson (the first Robin) was adopted by Bruce after his parents died during a performance that was sabotaged. So I'm thinking in this world, Batman probably sabotaged the performance himself in order to get Dick on his side for this experiment with no one else to go to.
15:21 The list of names are the kids that Batman kidnaps and turns into his little Bat children in this universe. In the DC universe, all of those children end up training under Batman as his sidekicks, like how he trained Robin. I don’t know the specifics, but I do recognize some of them: Dick Grayson became Nightwing And Tim Drake became Robin, well, *a* Robin to be precise. And Jason Todd became Red Hood (a more ruthless and violent Batman who people seem to appreciate more than Batman himself)
For the Noobs 2:41 Man-bat is a scientist who turned himself into a Bat accidentally to cure his own Deafness. 5:55 Referencing Both Superman and the Flash 6:19 The original Blue Beetle 15:25 big one; Dick Grayson-Nightwing,Jason Todd-Red Hood,Barbara Gordon-Batgirl/Oracle,Stephanie Brown-Spoiler,Kate Kane-Batwoman,Helena Bertinelli-Huntress,Selina Kyle-Catwoman. 16:50 That would be Barbara Gordon then. 17:43 And the person who’s talking is probably Tim Drake, the 3rd Robin who became Red Robin. 19:17 Jason Todd, The 2nd Robin until he was killed and resurrected as the Red Hood. 21:28 Richard “Dick” Grayson, the 1st Robin who graduated into Nightwing. 21:46 Not the Spider-Man Venom, but the One from DC that acts like a Super steroid, mostly used by Bane 23:20 Fear Toxin is a Chemical Agent developed by the Scarecrow to turn one’s Nightmares into reality. 25:50 Mostly Like The Court of Owls, a secret society that watches Gotham from the shadows and uses Assassins Called Talons to Silence whoever talks about them. 31:10 Self explanatory, Harvey Dent AKA Two-Face. 31:47 Riddler’s Symbol. @ANGRYASRIELISTHYLORD-w1uquit saying that, your spamming and I don’t like spam, your also trying to advertise yourself. Stop it now before you regret it
My theory is that Bane’s venom was altering the Bat’s mental and memory as it has been shown to do in other batman media, and scarecrow’s fear toxin is used as a form of manipulation. maybe in a desperate attempt to keep up with his villains he had to use the venom and some form of the fear toxin to keep gotham safe. i’d assume it went horribly wrong and turned him into the bat. clearly he wasn’t already in the correct headspace beforehand (with his reported strange behavior as bruce) which is probably why he felt he needed these chemicals. maybe the other members of the bat family aren’t dead in the coffins but simply resting. resting until their “transformations” are complete. i think he wants to make them like him. using the fear toxin to manipulate their emotions and beliefs as it is a very powerful hallucinogen, and using bane’s venom to beef them up to be his superhero team. i could be completely wrong but it seems plausible with what we’ve seen so far.
I don’t remember the name of the comic but before Bane (the main user of venom) was introduced, venom was introduced as a drug that Batman decided to try one day after being persuaded by a doctor (who was evil). He ended up getting stronger and stronger, but also losing control. Alfred helped him cut this drug off, but in this series, Alfred is dead, explaining what’s happened.
The whole time i'm watching this, i'm just thinking of that video: *Batman wails on someone on the ground* "H-Hey man, i think that's enough" "YOU WANT WHAT HE'S HAVING?" "N-no...." "THAT'S RIGHT.... JUSTICE, FOR GOTHAM"
The reason why Gordon says the court of owls is an old urban legend is because in Batman canon they are considered that. A group of wealthy and rich people in Gotham that are all anonymous with the talons taking out people that can be competition/don’t join the court of owls.
19:07 That might be Jason Todd speaking, he might become Red Hood to kill The Bat. Further evidence at 28:03, Jason's blurred picture morphed into a red face with a bat symbol, leading into the fact that the experience scarred him, and he'll use that pain for motivation so that no one else is hurt by The Bat.
I like the whole thing that Jason is the one to take Batman out, to stop the reign on Gotham like Jason tried to do in the real comics. It's a cool redemption for Jason to save Gotham from Batman, which is the whole point of Arkham Knight
All the names in that missing people list, except for Jean and Selina, who are Azrael and Catwoman respectively, were apparently all part of the Bat Family in DC universe, so yeah, it's safe to say that Batman was trying to make his own little gang of crime fighters.
What's interesting is that Tim Drake's name is redacted here. Considering Tim Drake is a detective nearly on par with Batman himself, it would be safe to assume he's the one investigating the scene, hence why he'd redact his own name. EDIT: I wrote that before finishing the video LOL

Ngl, if this version of Batman existed in Gotham, it'd be completely crime free. Mainly because everyone would be too scared to give him a reason to come out.
The question is whether that necessarily was a bad thing. Maybe it's just my opinion, but I have always found the fact that Batman doesn't kill people somewhat... dumb. I love how there is so much stuff from the comics being put in here, interesting that they even use one of the many weird drugs and toxins found in the comics too. Most people would probably be like "Oh he was always crazy" and be done with it but there is so much context behind this that makes it all the more tragic.

Alfred's death was definitely what made this story diverge from Batman's usual origin story. Alfred acted as a father figure for Bruce after his parents death and was probably what guided him to be the common hero we all know. But without Alfred, Bruce was left to learn and deal with his trauma and greif all on his own, and without anyone to really guide him, Bruce spiraled down a path of insanity, creating a horrific depiction of justice and vengeance for him alone to enact on Gotham.

This analog horror honestly isn't as novel as it seems. Superhero comics and adaptations add evil and bloodshed to heroes all the time and it always ends up looking dumb. Same thing here. This series just took the Dark Multiverse stories and compressed all their edgelord writing into an analog horror series. The only thing stopping it from being a Sonic.EXE clone (Which would also be bad) is that it's not some overpowered alien wearing a bat costume.

Context for the ppl who don't know DC lore: Dick Grayson: the first robin, eventually became Nightwing. Bruce adopted him after Dick's parents died in a circus accident in front of Dick (In some versions Dick's parents were members of the Court of Owls, and their death wasn't actually an accident). He's similar to Batman, but younger, more social, and more friendly. Jason Todd: the second robin, eventually he was murdered by the Joker, then he got revived and became Red hood, an anti-hero who hated Batman and stopped crime by killing criminals. Seems like in this version he'll become Red Hood so he can try to stop Batman and/or the other criminals. Barbara Gordon: Jim Gordon's daughter, she became Batgirl until she was paralyzed from the waist down by the Joker. In this version Jim said his daughter died, so I'm assuming she's the one who escaped but she got killed for it. Stephanie Brown: A female robin, she chose to become robin once Batman was old. Selina Kyle: Catwoman, a criminal who ended up being Batman's love interest. In this version it seems the Bat has a crush on her, but she's too scared of him to return the feeling so he plans on doing something to her to make her return the feeling. Tim Drake: the 3rd robin, he was the only person to piece together who Batman really was, find the batcave, and get himself hired as robin. In this version he was the one who found the bat cave and saw the missing children. The redacted name was his, he redacted it to conceal his identity from whoever found the tape. Based off the missing poster at the end, the Bat now has him too. Alfred: Bruce Wayne's butler who raised Bruce after his parents death, he was the reason Bruce grew up with the mentality of Rightful Justice instead of Vengeance. Obviously in this version Alfred died before he could teach Bruce this valuable lesson. The Joker: Batman's nemesis. While he's always been a criminal, it wasn't until after a confrontation with Batman that he went full on deranged and dedicated his life to getting Batman's attention by any means necessary. He's openly announced many times that if not for Batman, he'd probably have gone back to being a regular citizen by now. In this version he was the one who killed Bruce's parents, then years later when The Bat attacked him and did something to him (he seems to know who the Bat is in this version), he's once again become obsessed with the Bat. He seems to know the Bat isn't really dead, and he's trying to draw him back out. The mayor: Harvey Dent, aka Two Face. He was an actual genuinely good politician, until a criminal splashed acid on his face half of his face, the chemicals and the trauma causing Harvey to have a split personality, turning him into a criminal. It seems in this version it was Joker who splashed him with acid. The Court of Owls: a large criminal society of masked people, many of whom are politicians, gang leaders, rich business owners, and a wide variety of others. They've practically ruled Gotham for decades from the shadows, using their power and influence to pull the strings without anyone but them realizing it, they typically work in what they view as Gotham's best interests. In this version they seem to oppose the Bat and are sending the Talon (their best assassins, and in most versions Dick Grayson's grand father is one of the best Talons) to kill the Bat. Their messsge to the public makes me think they are once again working in Gotham's best interest, them basically telling the public "worry not, we will free you from the Bat." Venom: Super steroids! They greatly enhance strength and stamina, however they can have a negative effect on the mind. Bane was infamous for using Venom, it seems in this version Batman killed Bane and took his Venom, then used it to make his own version which alters the mind even more. Fear Toxin: The gas Scarecrow uses to give his victims horrible nightmares/hallucinations, it can warp a persons view of reality to make them see their worst fears. In this version it seems Batman killed Scarecrow and took his fear toxin, and uses it (it's possible he used it on Patient 0 during the Bat Incident), and then he used it on Jason before releasing his restraints, which is why Jason said the Batman looked different as he was running, the fear toxin made Jason see the Bat as a horrible monster. I'm guessing the Bat's intention had been to scare Jason by teasing him with an escape, but he didn't expect Jason to *actually* get away.
Bro... I watched this WHOLE THING. Someone please tell me why this was actually so scary and surprising but also genuinely well done. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Literally - i kept gasping and mouth covering!

Ryan liked my last story, so I'm gonna write a remake of it, about how the community of THE 8-BIT NATION tried to make him dance Lol, I love this one, also a quote to Ryan that I learnt the hard way - ‘ *If all else fails, grab the rubber ducky and bail yourself out* .’ - A wise man XD And without further ado, here is the story of how the 8-Bit Kingdom tried to make Ryan dance 💀 - *In the illustrious realm of the 8-Bit Nation, where the art of dance was revered above all else, ruled a King known as 8-Bit Ryan, affectionately known as Ryan by his people. His presence atop his throne often left the citizens longing for a glimpse of his joyful movements. They believed that if they could coax the King into dancing, his infectious enthusiasm would inspire joy throughout the kingdom, bringing about a harmonious celebration of movement and rhythm. Months before The Dance Extravaganza, the citizens of the 8-Bit Nation began preparations for the grand event. Streets were adorned with colorful banners and streamers, fluttering in the gentle breeze. Artisans crafted elaborate decorations, transforming the cityscape into a vibrant tapestry of colors and textures. Every corner of the realm was infused with an air of excitement and anticipation. As the day of the festival drew near, performers from far and wide flocked to the 8-Bit Nation, eager to showcase their talents in the hopes of eliciting a reaction from the King. Jesters and acrobats honed their routines, comedians perfected their jokes, and musicians composed melodies that echoed through the streets. On the day of The Dance Extravaganza, the entire kingdom buzzed with energy as citizens gathered in the town square, eager to witness the spectacle unfold. The stage was set with elaborate props and dazzling lights, casting a magical glow over the festivities. Atop his throne, 8-Bit Ryan was carried onto the podium overlooking his kingdom with an interested and inquisitive glance. His subjects watched with bated breath as the first performers took to the stage, their hearts filled with hope and anticipation. The festival began with a parade of dancers, each troupe showcasing their unique style and flair. From classical ballet to energetic street dance, every genre was represented as performers twirled and leaped with grace and precision. Yet, despite the mesmerizing performances, Ryan remained seated upon his throne, his expression unchanged. The citizens watched with a mixture of disappointment and determination, refusing to let their spirits be dampened by the King's stoicism. As the day wore on, various attempts were made to capture the King's interest. Musicians played lively tunes, magicians performed dazzling tricks, and artists painted colorful murals depicting scenes of joy and celebration. But still, Ryan remained unmoved, his gaze fixed ahead with unwavering resolve. The citizens of the 8-Bit Nation refused to admit defeat, rallying together with renewed determination to find a way to make their King dance. With one final stand of hope, desperate to give their King the time of his life, the citizens pushed forward, determined to find the perfect rhythm that would stir Ryan's soul. As the event progressed, a group of innovative inventors unveiled their latest creation: The Danc-a-tron 2.0. This state-of-the-art device was designed to analyze the King's movements and preferences, generating a bespoke playlist of tunes guaranteed to get his feet tapping. With anticipation mounting, the Danc-a-tron 2.0 sprang to life, filling the air with an irresistible medley of beats and melodies. Dancers of all styles took to the stage, their movements synchronized to the pulsating rhythm of the music. Yet, to the dismay of the onlookers, Ryan remained unmoved, his demeanor unchanged. The citizens watched in disappointment as their most ambitious invention failed to achieve its intended purpose. Refusing to admit defeat, the people of the 8-Bit Nation rallied together, determined to find another way to make their King dance. Drawing inspiration from their diverse cultural backgrounds, they began to craft a symphony of sounds that blended seamlessly together, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of music that transcended language and genre, blending the machine into a whirlwind of all the genres of music, put together. They called it the Symphonic Radiance! With each new composition, the citizens poured their hearts and souls into their music, infusing it with the passion and energy that defined their beloved nation. And finally, as the sun began to set on the horizon, a magical melody filled the air, its infectious rhythm impossible to resist. In that moment, the crowd gasped in awe as 8-Bit Ryan's foot started slowly tapping against the ivory floor, until his head started to leisurely sway to the music, as his face became a bubbly and enigmatic canvas, painted by the people of the Nation, and so, with utmost cries and cheers of joy, the once stagnant and stern overlooker 8-Bit Ryan rose from his throne, his movements vigorous, yet admirable as he joined his subjects on the dance floor. Together, they swayed and twirled in perfect harmony, celebrating the joy of music and movement. And so, in the 8-Bit Nation, it was not the sophisticated inventions or elaborate performances that succeeded in making their King dance. It was the heartfelt expression of unity and creativity that touched his soul, proving that the power of dance could bring even the most steadfast ruler to his feet* . And that's it lol, hope you enjoyed it and that it brought a smile to all of your faces! Feel free to use this for your essays, beauteous as I like to say, just be wary when you get to the end of the story, since the sheer amount of words may just make you faint without you knowing it. *Another one bites the dust* lmao XD 💀💀💀💀

Not a good mixture, Venom and Fear Toxin

I don’t remember the name of the comic but before Bane (the main user of venom) was introduced, venom was introduced as a drug that Batman decided to try one day after being persuaded by a doctor (who was evil). He ended up getting stronger and stronger, but also losing control. Alfred helped him cut this drug off, but in this series, Alfred is dead, explaining what’s happened.
Yeah, that comics is Batman: Venom
You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. but if this theory is true, people would've known about Batman for longer than this series suggests

The reason why Gordon says the court of owls is an old urban legend is because in Batman canon they are considered that. A group of wealthy and rich people in Gotham that are all anonymous with the talons taking out people that can be competition/don’t join the court of owls.
“You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
Definitely rings true in this universe.

Context for the ppl who don't know DC lore:
Dick Grayson: the first robin, eventually became Nightwing.
Their messsge to the public makes me think they are once again working in Gotham's best interest, them basically telling the public "worry not, we will free you from the Bat."
Venom: Super steroids!

Ryan liked my last story, so I'm gonna write a remake of it, about how the community of THE 8-BIT NATION tried to make him dance Lol, I love this one, also a quote to Ryan that I learnt the hard way - ‘ *If all else fails, grab the rubber ducky and bail yourself out* .’ - A wise man XD And without further ado, here is the story of how the 8-Bit Kingdom tried to make Ryan dance 💀 -
*In the illustrious realm of the 8-Bit Nation, where the art of dance was revered above all else, ruled a King known as 8-Bit Ryan, affectionately known as Ryan by his people.
