Between sonic.exe and shin sonic, the actual sonic will end up being remembered as a creepypasta than a hero from our childhood
Nah, generally the Sonic fanbase doesn't really like the horror variants and all that. Mainly due to the way that they extremely mischaracterize them. But this take did well on showing the kind of character and force that Knuckles is. Either we get more stuff like this and it's people actually knowing their stuff when it comes to Sonic horror. Or it just gets ignored by the Sonic community, either way works lol

For those who are unaware, The Chaos and Super emeralds are in fact separate items.
Most will know what the Chaos emeralds are, but the super emeralds are basically bigger chaos emeralds you could unlock in sonic & knuckles (and/or sonic the hedgehog 3) that would allow you to be come hyper sonic (a form you really don't see often in the sonic games anymore). In the games, you would have to unlock the emeralds first before you could unlock the super emeralds, however considering that shin sonic is already planning on going for them, I bet this will most likely not be the case. The super emeralds are also usually portrait to be near the master emerald (the main emerald that holds angel island up in the sky and that knuckles usually protects).
Fun Fact: Hill Top county is a reference Hill Top zone from sonic 2. Interestingly, Green Hill zone and Hill Top zone are canonically on different islands, so how did Shin Sonic get from one to another? Is that why he infected Tails?

This series is actually really good, it SHOWS the threat and what it’s capable of which is what most analogue horrors don’t do.
I would agree, many only show the threat stalking or describe what it can do without showing you.
I think the FNAF vhs tapes being vague with the kills works very well, probably better than most. Even benefiting from it
But with something like this that brutality works very well, same with greylock which built it up.

I’d also like to say that the design of Sonic really adds to that brutality. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more terrifying concept of Sonic.exe other than Sonic.eyx. Genuinely sent shivers watching Sonic breaking into a house with next to no effort and brutally killing a civilian. The fact that he’s fast just adds to that scare factor, defo don’t wanna be seeing that grin in my room.
I just realized, In the Cry of The Forest tape, the date that is shown in the beginning is actually when Sonic 06 released.

The statue is called moloch its an evil ancient entity that people used to throw children in its belly which was a furnace :)

Ryan's content may be very broad in terms of topics and types of videos from games to reactions to chats.
Instead of it feeling all over the place I cant help but only feel like it's a strong comfort content for when I'm down
Honestly, i really appreciate that the creator made it a "Entity is so op BUT there are actual ways to stop it." I love ARGs or other series that follows a "Entities are insanely powerful" trope as it makes it frightening, but at some point it just feels kinda like you know how everything is going to go. Everyone dies and we see cool spooky monsters. This felt like a nice refresher from some series i've been binging recently. Of course, it's not the only series, but I always appreciate creators for not doing a "everyone dies and there is no hope" trope.

*Once upon a time in a quiet suburban neighborhood, there lived a young man named Ryan, known in the gaming world as "8-bit Ryan." He had earned his nickname for being one of the best gamers in existence. His life revolved around pixels, virtual adventures, and the thrill of conquering challenging games. His room was a treasure trove of gaming memorabilia, with posters of iconic characters adorning the walls and a powerful gaming PC taking center stage on his desk. One gloomy Saturday afternoon, with rain pattering against his window, Ryan decided to dive into a new gaming experience. He had recently acquired a mysterious gaming PC from a garage sale hosted by an enigmatic old man in his neighborhood. The moment he had laid eyes on the peculiar computer, he felt an odd sensation, as if someone was watching him from afar. However, he brushed aside those eerie feelings, attributing them to his overactive imagination. Sitting down in his gaming chair, Ryan fired up the unusual PC, eagerly anticipating a thrilling new adventure. As the screen came to life, it emitted an eerie, flickering light, casting a shadowy, unsettling atmosphere in his room. His jaw dropped, and his heart raced as he began to remember the strange atmosphere of that garage sale. The old man had been intensely watching him as he picked up the PC, and his piercing eyes had sent shivers down his spine. Before Ryan could ponder further, his hands inexplicably started to pixelate. Panic surged through him as he let out a blood-curdling shriek of astonishment. It was as though his body was disintegrating into a sea of digital fragments. Desperation engulfed him, but he couldn't stop it. In an instant, he was pulled into the flickering abyss of the PC, which then shut off abruptly. Suddenly, Ryan found himself in a world unlike any other. He stood in a realm that resembled the backrooms, a place of liminal spaces and eerie transitions. The surroundings were filled with muted colors, and the landscapes were surreal, as if he had been transported into a digital nightmare. A sign in the distance read "Backrooms: Level 999," and he realized with terror that he had become trapped in this eerie, endless maze. This was not a game, but a nightmare incarnate. Ryan's heart pounded as he navigated through endless hallways, each one indistinguishable from the last. The walls seemed to pulse with a sickly green light, casting eerie shadows that played tricks on his mind. As he ventured deeper into the backrooms, the sense of isolation and dread grew with every step. He couldn't help but think of the old man from the garage sale. Had he known the true nature of the PC he had sold to Ryan? Was this some kind of twisted prank, or had he stumbled upon a malevolent force beyond his comprehension? With each passing moment, Ryan's hope dwindled. He had no weapons, no allies, and no clear path to escape. Every corner he turned, every door he opened, only led to more of the same endless, monotonous corridors. And then, in the darkest depths of the backrooms, he encountered it - the entity itself. It was a monstrous, shifting mass of shadows and glitched pixels, a grotesque amalgamation of all his fears and nightmares. The entity seemed to feed on his terror, growing larger and more menacing with every passing second. In a moment of sheer desperation, Ryan did the only thing he could think of - he faced the entity head-on. With a shout of defiance, he charged towards the eldritch horror, his determination outweighing his fear. The entity recoiled, as if surprised by his audacity. The battle that ensued was unlike anything Ryan had ever experienced. It was a battle of wills, a test of his courage and resolve. He dodged glitched projectiles, outmaneuvered the entity's shifting forms, and fought back with every ounce of strength in his pixelated body. As the battle raged on, Ryan felt a strange connection with the entity. It was as if he could see into its very core, its vulnerability hidden beneath the glitches and darkness. With one final, decisive strike, he struck at the heart of the entity, causing it to unravel and dissolve into a cascade of digital fragments. The backrooms around him began to glitch and distort, and the flickering light grew more intense. With one final surge of energy, Ryan was sucked out of the backrooms and back into reality. He lay on the floor of his room, panting and covered in sweat. The peculiar gaming PC sat before him, its screen dark. With a trembling hand, he powered off the computer and unplugged it. He had returned from a digital nightmare, and the old man's mysterious PC was finally silent. From that day on, 8-bit Ryan's gaming experiences took on a whole new level of intensity. He had lived to tell the tale of his harrowing adventure in the backrooms, a story he would never forget. As he continued to play, he couldn't help but wonder about the enigmatic old man and the origins of that haunted gaming PC. One thing was for sure - he had a newfound respect for the power of pixels and the games that had once been his escape, now a thrilling, high-stakes reality. And as for the old man, Ryan couldn't shake the feeling that he had encountered a force far beyond the realm of ordinary gaming - a force that had tested his skills, his courage, and his very existence* .
And there it is lol, I hope no 6 year olds read this, or they may never be the same again lol, but apart from that, hope you enjoyed the story, and if you are wondering yes I am an author lol, I am writing a story called long may they stand with 37,000 words atm, AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT AUTHORS GAME 23 hours a day lmao XD 💀💀💀

Many seem to have forgotten of this fact that is rarely used anymore in Sonic games but they do take place on Earth, Green Hill and all the zones are on Earth in the Sonic games but after a while this isn’t really shown anymore

i think that the statue's 'king' can be also translated to Molock, horned deity of fertility i mesopotamia and annciant cnaan. the Der Götze Moloch mit 7 Räumen oder Capellen ("The idol Moloch with seven chambers or chapels") got 7 squere-holes,vjust like the five super emerald stones.

Hı Ryan, I just wanna I told you how you saved my life man around 5 to 6 years back I was in major depression and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia so I had several suicide attempts and one of them nearly succeeded. But around that time my only happy moments with you man so you don't know but you helped me to get over it and now I'm happily married and a happy man and I am still watching you so thank you.

By the way Ryan the "super" emeralds are a more powerful version of the chaos emeralds that are inaccessible to everyone in Sonic's universe/dimension. The super emeralds are also what lets Sonic go Hyper Sonic. I could be wrong so anyone more familiar with the series can correct me if need be.

Hey Ryan, when are you gonna finish the Friday night funkin Mario madness mod v2. I’ve been waiting for that moment for a long time, it’s just feel a lot better when you play it, it’s just a different charm. I think a lot of people feel that too, but keep doing these videos, do a break if u need one, love your work man. And Sonic kinda looking scary tho.
As you watch this your always looking over your shoulder as if theres something, someone there, someone watch. You try to tell yourself its not real, its all in your head and that your not in danger. But you cant help but see things in the dark, you start to feel like your not alone, you start to feel like somethings wrong or... missing, is it your dog, your cat, you lights. You then start hearing laughter, then screams. Then you hear footsteps, you look like behind you, nothings there. You turn back around as you see glowing red eyes and a glowing yellow rotten smile. You then wake up to find that it was all a horrible dream, just a figment of your imagination, but you cant help feel like it was real, that it is real and you cant help feel a shiver go down your spine as you cant fall back asleep.
