- Took another long trip on my 1994 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Nostalgia FLSTN on 1300 mile round trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas for the 2024 Spring Fling. But while up there, it was for more than just the rally.

Mrs. Tramp isn't a trooper, she's a female WARRIOR!
Awww man, thank you.
Great to hear from you, I love watching your videos, there always short but always good. I really enjoy your old Bikes, the sound of them are so much better then the new ones( in my opinion). Always be safe and follow JESUS.
Thanks 👍Jesus is GOOD
One thing, to get soaked on the way home.. but getting drenched on the way there, - well that just sucks. Glad you're OK. 👍🏼
True that brother. Rally’s are all the same… it’s the people that make it… and the adventure getting there and back home. Keep up the content and ride safe.
I ride a carbureted 02 Heritage…. Love it !
Everyone else are riding the new stuff and have stereo loud,, I personally enjoy hearing and seeing all the sights along the way
Completely understand, Lance.
Thank the Lord the 2 of youse are safe! 😎
About 12 of us left Waycross Ga. last April going to Ceder Keys Fla. and it MONSSOONED on us most of the 200 mile trip To Fla. We stopped at a gas station with a Awning and decided to stay there for the night and finish the trip the next morning. I've never been in anything like that. That weenend trip was around 500 miles round trip. EXPERIANCE IS PRICELESS.
I know about those too! I’m in Blackshear.
Good to see a RUclipsr who has the stones and skills to ride in the rain. Already too many "dry/warm weather only" riders on the roads and screen as it is.
First "Biker". That I have seen ride in the rain!!
Awesome, your wife is badass. A lot of people wouldn't do the drive in a car much less on a bike. 🙏
You got that right. Relationships
I live and ride motorcycles in Florida. We get some monsoons during the rainy season. Some storms dump 24" of rain in 24 hours. I have ridden in storms that the carbs on my BMW 600/6 were underwater. I rode in water up to the carb on my Sportster before turning around and heading back home.
Life is good, Monday a.m. and I wake up to a SaddleTramp video. It's going to be a good day. I'll see you and Mrs at Forgotten Angels in October.
THERE HE IS!!!!! MISSED YA DRUMMER! WELCOME BACK!
How do we know each other? Not too many know me under that name these days.
@@SaddleTrampTV I've been around for a minute... been on one of your live streams many moon ago. We've never been beard to beard in the real world
Awesome I just got finished a 3800 mile run on my 86 wide glide, 80 cu inch Evo. Ran great only shook a few bolts loose.
You're the man!
I thought you were going to build your missus her own bike, be great to see her riding beside you
What year and model is your bike?
@@nelsongn9 1994
@@stephenchristie7241 Turns out she can't due to spinal issues. I've been running it here and there every now and then though to keep it healthy.
Howdy, from the land of not much rain 😂
Another good ride along 👍👍
Enjoyed meeting you in Eureka Springs if only for a minute and a handshake at the Cathouse
Sure thing, man!
his Mrs is made of the right stuff, no moaning and still compassion for people wh's houses have flooded.
I really love the music choices in this video. Especially the bluegrass feels. Cool man.
Thank you, Randall. Always good to hear from you.
It was a pleasure getting to spend time with you and the Mrs. Thank you for the shout out my friend. Rubber down, Faith up!!
You bet
Rock on , thank you for sharing 🙏 glad you survived the flood. Dang
Assume video miss you guys. Windsor Ontario Canada watching 👀 😎
Anyone can travel long distance on a new bike. Going cross country on vintage iron is an adventure
It can be to say the least.
Good stuff.... Besides that wet stuff!
Thanks, Greg. All part of it.
I have been in some good ole Gulf Coast thunderstorms where you cant see the bike in front of you but I have never seen anything that bad. Glad yall are safe.
Miss seein your videos here,it's good to hear ya made it to Eureka springs! I'm s little north and west of there. Couldn't make it cuz I gotta work tomorrow. (Maybe next year!) Be careful and have fun there!!!
If you go straight west and jump over to Oklahoma there's some nice riding.. there was a pretty cool little rally in Spavinah Ok.. I'm sure it's still going on.. either way that hole region of Arkansas, Missouri and western Oklahoma is beautiful riding
While in Eureka Spring’s did you get to check out Adams new camp grounds.
Not that time around
As much as I love HDs, I am more and more convinced that a good use ADV bike is the way to go for traveling. Don’t care to go off road but the main roads are getting really dicey across the country and the weather is always a potential challenge.
Good seeing you again! I’ve been wondering how it was going down in Mississippi. Take care!😉👍
I don't know what's worse getting caught in a flash flood or driving over a mountain range in a blizzard with the pass closed Infront and back, I started making deals, maybe I better start paying up, 😊
If you ride a bike for any length of time, eventually you're gonna roll with the punches.
Always glad to see your uploads👍🙏
Great to see the. Misses with you?😊😊😊
Very!
That rain was horrible.
Yeah it was
Dam I wish I could of been there I live not too far from there
Long time no see , ride with wings my friend...
Great video. I wish our videos would turn out this good. It was great seeing you two again. Looking forward to the next time.
Wow that was a wild storm, glad it cleared up for some sweet rides! Hydro planing, crazy weather, lots of laughs and nervousness from somehow surviving, those are the great memories on the road! 😁 awesome
It was more than interesting to say the least.
Looked like it turned into a nice trip after a bad start . Ya still rocking the hand shift / foot clutch on the Heritage ...
In this video, yes
I decided to rewatch this video, the midwest of America wether it's Minnesota or Wisconsin straight down to the gulf of Mexico gets some crazy wicked summer storms.. never fails that when a trip is planned you're going to get soaked and then be stuck in the humidity and heat.. I think a cool trip would be riding along the eastern side of the Mississippi River to the beginning or end and then riding the west side on your return trip.. there's alot of really cool towns and history along the Mississippi River.. before roads the river was used alot more than we use it today and alot of the old buildings are there and many of them have cool little self funded or public funded museums and collections.. the house on the rock in Wisconsin is a must visit along with the caves that are east of there a little bit
That sounds like a real good idea. Thanks, Ben
Glad you guys are safe
Just glad you’re alright. Just have to keep moving forward.
How High's the Water, Papa? 5 feet high and risin'
Lol... Was thinking that while all that was going on.
Wow that rain was crazy!!! I'm glad i'm not the only one you do that to but I'll give him credit... he was able to keep a straight face and not miss a beat where me... i get tongue tied and start laugh... LOL.. There was no more true words about these type of events than what you said at the end.
It's always the people that make it what it is.
Nothing like riding and doing things with your friends and buddies. Your wife started with a king how did she do.
Pretty good I suppose
Thank you for taking the time to do this video. My riddin buddy passed away in April 22. You bring back wonderful memories of him. Keep riddin young man...
Richard from Az. Glad everything okay miss your videos keep safe you an yours
Thanks 👍
Hola amigo! Awesome video.
Hey, man!
Looked like an awesome trip man!
It was alright
Look like a good time for sure good to see y'all
Thank you, Andy
Hey guys another great video!!! Seeing everyone at Spring Fling makes it all worth wild!!! Ride safe my friends until the next Fling!!!
It was good to see you and Aaron again! Just wish our time together was longer!
We didn’t get to spend the time like I would have liked. So next year we need to plan better.
I'm heading down there Thursday. Like to meet you if you're still around!
Hadn't heard from you for awhile, glad to see another video. I'm looking for an older Harley for myself. I sold a big metric dresser last year because of my strength waning with age. Time for an evo with a lot less weight,Heritage or a dyna. You'd think they are gold plated with the way they are priced locally. I rode a 72 FLH that i had stripped down to just a wide glide style for years. My brother in law owns it now and won't sell my old shovel back to me but let's me ride it when we are in FL. Visiting . Be safe out there and tell the Mrs i said God Bless you both ❤
What a great video Tramp, thanks for sharing it with all of us. Looks like you and your wife had a great adventure, living the dream. You got a very dependable bike for sure.
I see you found the Comfort Inn in Watson Chapel,Arkansas. I stayed there last month.
What do we consider old nowadays? Got a 98 and a 05 road king. Not old but certainly well used!
Great video Corey👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
That was a heck of an opening.biblical flood glad y’all are good.& good to hear from y’all
And what was recorded wasn’t even the worst of the rain and flooding!
Yep... What she said
I’ve rode with a few of them & they’re good people that’s for sure
It was a great video Cory. Kim really earned her wings.
Thanks Joe. During the worst of it, all I could think of was, “We HAVE to get this bike out now, otherwise, it’ll be going home on a truck”. Thankfully, God worked it ALL out for us.
@@themissuscostelli497 I'm sure hit had to be scary though. Stay safe.
As Always Thanks For Sharing!
Awesome trip Corey 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice ride.......... Peace out.......
only thing worse than rideing in the rain is rideing in the freeezzzeeeing cold..... great Vid Ol mate... cheers
Tell me about it
Great video.
Hey Jerry! Thanks!
Been watching for a while!
Need a rear cylinder head with valves for a 1975 Ironhead....do you have one to sell?
Not any to spare
It's bad enough to drive in extreme weather conditions in a car, a cycle trip could be disastrous. Glad you're safe.
It can be a little sketchy at times
Sorry for all the rain. Love the video and music 👍🏻🙏🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
I was at the spring fling. Would like to meet you one day. Not many people ride the old bikes anymore I ride a 87 heritage also have a new bike but the heritage is so much more fun
They have way more character for sure.
Thanks for another great video as always keep the rubber side down
Any chance you could share the links to some of those guys channels thanks
Links are in the description.
Thanks for stopping by it’s always a pleasure, keep the rubber Side down 🤟🏾
Sure thing. You can ALWAYS stop by here whenever you see fit. Would love to see you.
@@SaddleTrampTV Thanks I definitely have to take you up on that I’d love to hang out with you guys.
Yall should go to thunder in the smokies this fall it's in Maggie valley
@@edwardblaine8426 Thanks. I'll give it some thought.
Good to see you guys had a good time. I was thinking about that trip myself. Hopefully we can meet up sometime at one of these rallies.
Small world. Who knows?
Nice one brother
Good times!
Man, glad you guys made it safe. God is good
Yes, thank you
Getting caught in the rain ain't as bad as having to go outside and get on the scooter to ride when it's raining
@@lonesometinman3147 Yeah really.
I don't mind riding in the rain but that was crazy.
You're telling me
I missed seeing you all. Was traveling
You always are - and we missed you too!!
Looks like a great time except the heavy rain
Gotta roll with the punches sometimes if you travel on a bike.
Great video.
I have been missing them.
Me too
Talk about a wet ride damn glad yall made it safe
@@shrederyoungblood69 It was a ride for sure.
Loved the video , y'all be safe out there
We'll give it a shot.
Your lucky the bike fired up again in that storm,no problems with the bike later like water damage ect?
All good so far
An evo is good and reliable@@SaddleTrampTV
thanks for the video mate
You bet
Videos get n shorter n shorter, man! lol..... 1st one in a while too! Just blowing ya shit, bro, all your videos are good enough, that's why I watch everyone you make! I have a camera n all, but I am too damn lazy to make videos. I won't put that shit on my bars or helmet! I have a job, I do ok, I don't need to make videos but love to watch them. We'll meet up one day, man. Do you go to sturgis at all? Ive never been on a bike. I used to live in Rapid always went by car, didn't have a bike then. Its a forever drive to SD from Indiana, plus I don't wanna ride alone, people around here would rather ride in a circle around town than travel outta town. I am taking 2 weeks off work come Sturgis this year if I can find someone to go with me!. I'm not scared to roll out, just want some company!
That's a rally I haven't been to since 2006. Nice scenery around there, but honestly I enjoyed the going more than the getting there. Any place far away I suppose is worth a trip on two wheels.
Get water in the transmission?????
@@wvbiker746 No. All good
If it ain't from the 70s or 80s it ain't shit
