Yes! That’s a great tip! I started doing that after I made this tutorial. It helps to keep the balloon topiary from popping. I use an extra balloon (same size as the balloons in the topiary).
I love your little helper my son was involved like that when he was little. I told him not to touch my supplies but realized when he was doing a stuffed balloon for a customer on our kiosk he definitely had NOT listened. Customer never knew.

I tried creating 3 of these tonight. There's definitely a technique when connecting them together. In my first attempt, I used 9 in and wasn't too successful, lol. The second attempt I used 8 in, and was able to see the "flower" on both sides. In my third attempt, I used 6in and hand more control lol I'll keep practicing. I love the topiary look...simply but can be elegant.

But I laughed at myself so much because the balloon machine scares me because it’s so Loud and so fast 😂. I ended up blowing them up by mouth. My grandsons birthday is next month i ordered one of those hand things. 😂😂😂
Just made them for daughters 17th birthday...... I used foil Christmas tree stands instead of proper stands and topped with quarentine balloons. They look amazing. Never would have thought of the tinsel curtains. Thank you!

This is amazing. I seriously love this. I found you on Pinterest and decided I wanted to recreate this idea for my graduation. I started looking for the stand on Amazon but can’t seem to the one that was shown in your video.
How do u keep the pole in the base of the plastic balloon stand. Every time I do one and put the balloons on and push down on the balloons the stick comes up out the base
An Uninflated balloon is what I wrote. LOL. I might even try taking a 160 clear and use it to attach topiary to pole for more security..do you think that would work and could be hidden?
I have been practicing these topiaries, however I can’t seem to get the balloons tight like yours I can see some of the middle of the balloons. Do have any suggestions? Also have you ever used double stuff balloons to create these topiaries? I am in need of some help I won’t to use them for a party next weekend.
I would be nervous to double stuff balloons and then create a topiary. It’s harder to me to maneuver double stuffed balloons. What size balloons are you using? Do you have a balloon sizer? That will help make sure all of the balloons are the same size.
One day, I’ll invest in a balloon pump. Just haven’t done that yet. I have a balloon sizer somewhere (thanks for reminding me). I’ve never used it. Normally I just eyeball my balloons.

Yes!!!!! He used to love being on camera. Now he runs from it. But he’s still sweet and loves to snuggle up under me ☺️.

The lamp that I use comes in pieces. The top part is not attached (the part where the light goes).

How can I keep the topiary from moving around when I made them before I noticed that they would move around?

can u make the night before with out worrying that it might Inflate?
You can blow up the balloons the night before. But I wouldn’t twist them together until the day of the event.
I would be worried in case one popped, could I double stuff as two white balloons and make the top?

Yes tie 169 clear to some point in the topiary and attach it to and/or wrap around stand at the top part so it is secure and not visible.

You can do it! I’ve had some balloons pop on me in the past. But with practice, it gets easier.
I love this ❤️ but I am getting anxiety because you’re using hand pump, it’s lot harder to use.
You can use an electric pump. You just need a balloon sizer to make sure all of the balloons are the same size.
Securing an inflated balloon to the top of the pole can help it not pop.
