Thank you for the tutorial for the topiary. I did that in the late 90s here in UK and had forgotten how. For static try and rub with baby powder. Thank you. I love your calm spirit. Stay blessed.
I was thinking using a dryer sheet on you or the curtains for the static. Also, rubbing lotion into your hands then swipe you clothes can help as well. But everything looked beautiful.
Nice one as always. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Funny you mentioned putting an uninflated balloon on your stand...lol. I was making a table top topiary last week & was struggling to get it to stay up on the pole, kept sliding down, but I figured it out. I put an uninflated balloon on the tip of the stand/pole but rolled up the very end just a little instead of laying it flush against the pole so it created a little more of a hold for the topiary to sit on. It worked. Now I can doit your way as well, add 2 if needed.
Yeah, mine kept sliding down too. I don’t know why I tied my balloons so loosely. 🤦🏽♀️ I had to add 3 balloons on top of my foil curtain to get it to stay.
I would like to say thank you for inspiring me to do table to topiaries. The colors of the event was black and gold. The topiaries turned out great and the client loved them. Thank you❤️😊
Hello! Should you experience static again, find a metal clothes hanger & rub it against you. Or keep a dryer sheet in a baggie "just in case"... thank you for sharing your talents - it doesn't matter how long one has been in business, there's always something to learn from colleagues. It never occurred to me to use glitter curtains on a topiary base - what a great idea! Thank you again! Just wanted to add, that I use a 350 at the top of my pole (to about 3" down) to protect the balloons but also with the extra length I pull it out through the topiary, figure 8 it around a couple of balloons, and VOILA! That topiary isn't going anywhere!
Thank you! You are a wonderful teacher, I love that you give us tips to avoid mistakes! You are also very beautiful! A tip to reduce static electricity is adding humidity to the air, wearing rubber-soled shoes, putting baking soda in your laundry, and using a static release spray on your clothing.
Thank you so much for your video! Where did you get this column stand? I really enjoyed watching especially when you showed how to put fringes around the pole!
Take dryer sheets with you & wipe the stands of the foil strands. That should help to eliminate static. You could also brush you shirt with the dryer sheet, in case that's where the static is originating.
This is my first time watching you your work is so beautiful you do a very good job I will have to try something What is that you tie the balloons up with thank you
@@YesEventDecor I knew I had to work before hand and wouldn't have enough time, but I did that suggestion yesterday and it worked!!!!! I only lost 1string of fringe ❤️🧡💛💜💚💙

Oh my God how terrible LOL I would be freaking out we just started balloons for our family events and I always keep a little box of dryer sheets with us maybe that'll help.
That is such a good point!!!!! Thank you! I was wondering why I had so much static! You’re right. It was probably because I did the balloon backdrops before these standing topiaries!!!
Perhaps drier sheets. Love you topiary!! God bless you and your business.

Thank you for watching! I provided the information for the materials I used in the description of this video.
❤Thanks I learn
You're welcome 😊
I like your work
Thank you!
When I had a balloon decorating business, I would keep a can of "Static Guard" in my work box. It would take care of flyaway fringe.
Oh I have to get me some! Thank you!
@@YesEventDecor spray yourself with the Static Spray - it works really well, but might show on dark fabrics so try it at home first!

Great video. Where do you get the ballon stands?
I got mine from Amazon. The link is in the description. I also provided links to other balloon stands (floor lamps) that you can use. Thanks!
You are the best!!!
Awww 🥰 Thank you
Thank so much for the information 👏🏻
Glad to help ☺️
Try half water half fabric softener in a spray bottle. It may help with static.
Thank you!!!!!!! I’ll definitely try that.

Thank you for watching my videos! I’m not sure what you’re referring. Can you tell me where in the video I’m tying the balloons to something? Thanks!
Where to buy the stands,help
The links are in the description. Thanks!
Hi. Do you cut the cord off of the lamp?
The lamps that I purchased don’t have the cord attached.
Lonielle how do you transport the poles with the fringe on it. Do you tie it with 260 so it doesn't get all tangled? ❤️🧡💛💜💚💙
I don’t transport the poles with the foil curtains on them. I do that at the event.
@@YesEventDecor I knew I had to work before hand and wouldn't have enough time, but I did that suggestion yesterday and it worked!!!!! I only lost 1string of fringe ❤️🧡💛💜💚💙
@@ColleluoriKids that’s great!!
Do you work with helium at all? I could use guidance on tank rental/purchase.
No, I do not. The cost of helium is too expensive and with the shortage, I can’t get it at all time.
Where are you located? Do you ever do decor hands on courses?
Yes! I do have classes! Here’s the link to my website for more information - www.yeseventdecor.com/classes.
Thanks for sharing! I feel more confident just by watching you! Where did you purchase the balloon sizer.
You can do it! 👏🏽👏🏽 The link for the balloon sizer is in the description of this video.

Thank you! I actually have an online course where I share how much I charge for my decorations. Here's the link -yeseventdecorandmore.retrieve.com/store/#/.

Thank you! I got some.
What do you recommend for smaller displays? Like tables? Also, how about what to do when you want to do mixed balloon displays but not tied together like the topiary? Thanks!

Thank you for watching ☺️
Love the topiary!!♥️ If a balloon pops, do you just add a balloon in that place and tie it to the balloon end of another balloon?
Thank you! I think I’m going to make a video on that. A few people have asked me that.
Where do u get your stands from?

Yeah, I attach bricks to the bottom of it. Here’s a video on that - ruclips.net/video/G5W_2NEzD4o/видео.html.
Your work is so phenomenal and I love learning about what you do!
I heard you can use dryer sheets to eliminate the static (but don’t quote me) 😂

@@YesEventDecor you’re so welcome ☺️

I used static guard or dryer sheet on my foil curtains
Thank you!
I have looked on Amazon to find balloons in bulk and I see they aren't carrying balloons in the popular brand names. Where else can I find the higher quality brands?
I put the links to the balloons I use in the description of this video. Thanks!
And when you say middle point ... do you mean how/where you originally pulled the balloons together???!
Yes ☺️
You could put a little water on ur hands a run them over the the ribbons or the foils.I have done that .
Thank you for that tip! 👏🏽
Could you do a tutorial for a single balloon stand without a stand? Just one balloon standing from the floor up.
why do you blow up the balloons so much larger than you need just to take a 1/4 of the air out?
To get a nice round shape. I like to stretch the balloon out.
Try hair spray to remove static.
Thank you!
Bring some Static Guard spray to spray yourself or the balloon curtain.
Thank you! Will do. ☺️
What do you charge for them

Sienta Fiesta Festa
The best way to secure the balloon topiary is by using another ballon or fish string to go through and wrap in between the balloons.
Thanks for the feedback
When you get static wet your hands a little and rub it down the curtain to stop the static or a mist bottle
Thank you for that tip! 👏🏽
Get you some static spray
Will do. Thanks!
If you did your other balloons first you built up static for sure😁

Spay yourself with static cling before you start working with the balloons and curtains🤔
