I was thinking using a dryer sheet on you or the curtains for the static. Also, rubbing lotion into your hands then swipe you clothes can help as well. But everything looked beautiful.

Hello! Should you experience static again, find a metal clothes hanger & rub it against you. Or keep a dryer sheet in a baggie "just in case"... thank you for sharing your talents - it doesn't matter how long one has been in business, there's always something to learn from colleagues. It never occurred to me to use glitter curtains on a topiary base - what a great idea! Thank you again! Just wanted to add, that I use a 350 at the top of my pole (to about 3" down) to protect the balloons but also with the extra length I pull it out through the topiary, figure 8 it around a couple of balloons, and VOILA! That topiary isn't going anywhere!

Thank you for the tutorial for the topiary. I did that in the late 90s here in UK and had forgotten how. For static try and rub with baby powder. Thank you. I love your calm spirit. Stay blessed.

Nice one as always. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Funny you mentioned putting an uninflated balloon on your stand...lol. I was making a table top topiary last week & was struggling to get it to stay up on the pole, kept sliding down, but I figured it out. I put an uninflated balloon on the tip of the stand/pole but rolled up the very end just a little instead of laying it flush against the pole so it created a little more of a hold for the topiary to sit on. It worked. Now I can doit your way as well, add 2 if needed.
Yeah, mine kept sliding down too. I don’t know why I tied my balloons so loosely. 🤦🏽♀️ I had to add 3 balloons on top of my foil curtain to get it to stay.

Thank you! You are a wonderful teacher, I love that you give us tips to avoid mistakes! You are also very beautiful! A tip to reduce static electricity is adding humidity to the air, wearing rubber-soled shoes, putting baking soda in your laundry, and using a static release spray on your clothing.

Also for outside, I learned the hard way secure you balloons to the stand with double sided tape to keep from blowing away with high wind.

Try half water half fabric softener in a spray bottle. It may help with static.

Take dryer sheets with you & wipe the stands of the foil strands. That should help to eliminate static. You could also brush you shirt with the dryer sheet, in case that's where the static is originating.

Hello, I'm a Master Barber when clients have an excessive amount of static in their hair lightly miss with water n it will lay down if you feel like its you mist of water or hairspray (LIGHTLY) and I am enjoying your VIDEOS....

When I had a balloon decorating business, I would keep a can of "Static Guard" in my work box. It would take care of flyaway fringe.

I don’t transport the poles with the foil curtains on them. I do that at the event.
@@YesEventDecor I knew I had to work before hand and wouldn't have enough time, but I did that suggestion yesterday and it worked!!!!! I only lost 1string of fringe ❤️🧡💛💜💚💙

I have looked on Amazon to find balloons in bulk and I see they aren't carrying balloons in the popular brand names. Where else can I find the higher quality brands?

The best way to secure the balloon topiary is by using another ballon or fish string to go through and wrap in between the balloons.

why do you blow up the balloons so much larger than you need just to take a 1/4 of the air out?
To get a nice round shape. I like to stretch the balloon out.
Try hair spray to remove static.
