    What an amazing video! In my current class, I have to present my mobile app for critique. Since this is the first time doing this, you provided so many different topics to discuss throughout my presentation. You didn't just show a couple examples on how to critique an app, but 50 of them!! That helped me so much. Thank you sir!

    22:30 I think the subscription strip is there to subtly frame the benefits of buying a Plus membership to the users. This way, if the users keep getting reminded of it every time they open the app, it's more likely that they will renew their membership. It is there to help the business, not the users.

    39:03 well you're right here, but I think that offering a water to someone who comes to your home is a very common thing for people. maybe that's why they decided to just put that empathy phrase in a small space. but still your point is also valid

    30:32 I think what they are trying to convey is, They didn't upsell the subscription program (i.e. the whole screen) in the checkout or product description page but rather added it as a separate page (for more emphasis I guess). That worked wonders for them.
    Not sure what cute conveys though 😅😂.
    Bomb content chethan bhai. Thank you!😉

    14:45 here I as a user when I see more stars and more reviews from other people to a certain application or any feature, I just not fully trust but it simply creates an impact in my mind that I just feels like "let's give it a try"
    I think that may be they did research possibly quantitative analysis

    Very good video...loved every bit of it. This critique actually helped me in rethinking my own designs..
    Urban company's slide deck would have been much better if they had pointed out what they wanted readers to focus on in the screen... Sometimes I didn't know what the description wanted me to focus on😅.. critique from my side for their deck

      I also glad that you are covering topics which is not that easy to explain, as they aren't concrete concepts but very contextual and involves lot of thinking..
      Thanks for making these videos. More power to you chethan ❤️

    Amazing Video. I learned lot of new things and wanted to thank you for making this high value content, but I just wanted to give a suggestion, if you do the critique of any mobile app directly from the phone rather than in the slide format then it would be more helpful to the people who are gonna face the app critique round in the interview.

    18:00 sometimes as a user I check all the cards there, because I wanna know what and how much discount I'm getting on the services mention, and I can consider to try out that services. because when users see the discount thing, user will atleast check out the product/service. but still I'm not 100 percent sure about it cause as of now I have no data to prove that

    44:16 don't you think that sending the same professional for the customers, will built a connection privately between them, maybe the customers will not even call the professional through the app, instead they will call them from their personal number - just a possibility

    • @DesignPilot
      @DesignPilot  2 года назад

      True. I’m sure there are mechanisms in place to prevent it or reduce them from happening .

    23:09 they would have thought that generating videos will increase the value in the mind of users and the end result will be more booking of that specific services. but unfortunately it didn't worked.
    so the least I can say that the people just don't wanna watch the videos. there are lot of reasons that, why users didn't watch the videos.but for now I'm curious that how UC will come up with something that can increase the bookings of a specific services

      While booking a service from an online platform, it becomes important to give essential information.
      For example, if someone is paying ₹2,500 for a Facial service, they’d want to know how the service will happen, whether the partner will bring everything with them or not, etc.
      We show such information with copy, images & videos. Videos usually are a preferred way of consuming media. However, it changes as per the context.

      @@mayankd_YT Well It's was just what I thought, according to atleast what he mention, in the end I hadn't done any research or user interviews so I don't have any solid base on what I've said.

    16:28 what's the proof that 128 bookings last weeks were true. I mean they can fake it, and there is a very low chance that a user will ask to show some proof of it related to it. afcourse I'm not supporting the idea of faking and not even imposing an allegation on them, but still just a thought

    • @DesignPilot
      @DesignPilot  2 года назад

      Well, you’re right. I think today it’s been established that the reviews on apps are majority true even if there is a part of them untrue
