- In this short video Bryan Fischer shows the new sketch tool introduced in NX 1926 (not default). In NX 1956 this solver became the default and Bryan shows the streamlined interaction of the new solver.
New Sketch Solver
•Automatically finds relationships between curves
•Alleviates the need to “fully constrain” sketches with geometric constraints
•Relationship finding can be fine tuned by the user
•Relations can be made Persistent for specific workflows when required
•Streamlined workflow for creating and editing dimensions
•Can be temporarily overridden

How does NX manage to make every successive release worse for the end user?
"you don't have those constraints you have to mess with" Like saying to a painter - now you don't have those paint brushes you used to have to mess with. So far I really dislike this new sketch tool. 20+ years using NX

What does sw know that nx doesn't?
@@Fischer977 I don't want to go into details but sketching in SW is much easier, faster and fluent because it has to be. And the new sketch solver from NX is a true nightmare, even worse than the old one. When it comes to modeling NX wins though.
The new sketcher really is terrible. There is nothing there that couldn't be made in the old one, plus faster, more reliable, and more intuitive. All my coworkers who've been using NX ranging from 1 to 20 years hate it. I am in awe of how much Siemens hates its user base in order to make this thing a default.
Hey Bryan, amazing video, very informative, I learned a lot about the new sketcher. I love having to do fewer clicks! LOL! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 One quip, however, I would like to see you complete the sketch. I think this would be very beneficial so that others may see the true potential of the sketcher.
The sketch is complete and fully defined. At the 4:40 mark Bryan makes a comment that the sketch is now fully defined and in the middle of the screen at the bottom, one can see where NX cue line shows Sketch is fully defined. Hope this helps!

How to set proper plane orientation in the new version of NX 1957??
you said amazing video that mean you have understood the concept right. Now tell me the ans here in comment.
How do I turn off the shading tool? Or at least make it transparent.

Siemens reintroduced the sketch orientation in NX 1980. This sketch orientation works in the same manner past NX users are accustomed to using in the old Sketch solver.

Повсеместная тенденция у всех продуктов: вам не надо ничего делать, система все сделает автоматически.... но так как это хочется системе и нам плевать что хочет пользователь. Изуродовали систему привязок, а авторазмер и раньше был но его всегда все отключали потому что неудобен.
