Turning a Bowl From Start to Finish, NO EDITS - Woodworking ASMR

  • Follow me on Facebook / oliviergomiswoodworking I wanted to challenge myself to see how fast I could turn a bowl. It's also an opportunity to make a video with no cuts or sped up parts to show the whole process of turning a simple bowl. I'm not in any way a production turner and I usually don't turn this fast, so it isn't perfect. This was attempt number two, the first one was 21 min long, because I spent too much time on sanding.

Honestly... I understand when you're editing or speeding up things like the measurements and cutting after showing a few times in normal speed. But when you start doing the lathe work, I think it's awesome to see that done unedited. I know there's a lot of hours that do into your more detailed works, but I personally wouldn't mind longer videos with more footage like this of the lathe work. It's very relaxing and interesting to see.
This was a really cool idea and hope you use it a bit more in future videos! Thanks for sharing this! And that bowl came out wonderful!
