I love Shields and Yarnell. I turned 10 years old in 1977, and remember they were everywhere on TV and had their own series. I never thought of them as a mime act, but as first class entertainers that seemed to be so in tuned to each other that they were like one being and did more with movement using every muscle in their bodies, in telling a story than someone reading outloud a script memorized.. I hope they will release their tv series that is pure gold.
these are wonderful clips that take me back to those days and further when you worked the wax museum. I was one of the regular girls that came to see you every week. with Krissy and Mary .. who learned from you how to do the Robot and when you left for frisco, Mary became the Robot at the wax museum. I sometimes think of those great carefree days and always with fondness when I see these clips. Thanks for so much entertainment and was happy that Id met you. Dee ..
