@JDsMT09ADV hey mate glad you're ok and i know this is probably the wrong time to ask this question but would you recommend the mt's for adventure riding, I've wanted to build my mt-03 into a fun adventure bike because i noticed that the Ténéré 700 has 240mm of ground clearance while my mt-03 has 160mm but its roughly 40kg lighter than the 700 i already have my mt-03 and i don't really want to buy another bike any advice would be greatly appreciated i hope you have a speedy recovery mate 👍
@@TimMoore-gv7hu hey mate and not the wrong time ask! Honestly mate if I had the money I would do this all over again! Also if I had the money I would buy an MT-03 for my missus and Adventurise it! Obviously doing this comes with its ups and downs and it really depends on what you want. For me I was in the situation where I had the MT and friends who rode adventure and instead of trying to sell the mt or get another bike I did some small mods and man I honestly loved the outcome. The MT”s are a great platform for it as it’s a nice upright riding position and plenty of low end grunt. Figure yourself out a bashplate and some stunt/crash bars and you’re almost there. If your willing do to abit of research for parts and mods I can’t see why you couldn’t do it on an mt03 and have an absolute blast! You’ll have to keep in touch if you do it I’d love to see it come to life! Cheers for reaching out and sorry if i rambled on and confused you these pains meds have me all over the shop 😂
@@TimMoore-gv7huI will like to add my 2 cents, it also depends what kind of riding you will be doing… General gravel tracks you will be fine…. Get into sand, mud, rocks…. You will just start damaging stuff… I can tell the difference the 790 adventure R and a 450 rally replica
I think he needs another surgery to attach that collar bone mate apparently the first try didn't take 😥 but apart from that I think he's alright, thanks for asking
hope the dude recovered without any issues. i will say it is a street bike. Bit like putting road tyres on a WR450! Fuck with it and you change the whole dynamic of the machine. I guess people think they know betted than the designers who spent millions building the product. That engine is too big for off road anyway.
