    Lighter fluid, coals are still black, probe all the way through the roast? Bad example sir, bad example.

      Thanks for sharing your heart and for watching the vid! The video wasn't exactly about how to cook the food so much as how the rotisserie worked on a kettle grill.

    Can it be used when it's raining or does it need to be under a shelter of some sort?

    I've had a chunk of asphalt about that size, maybe a little smaller in a bag of royal oak lump charcoal as well. I still love the brand but I do keep an eye on what's in the bags. It doesn't happen very often for me, and I go through maybe a bag and a half to 2 bags of RO a week from May to November.

    for me the rule of thumb for temp and height is if you can hold your hand for seven seconds , before its too hot then thats the spot . less than that is too hot and more is to cool .

    does the ring seal good where it sets on the pit or does it leak air and smoke,

    • @the.great.adventurers
      @the.great.adventurers  3 года назад +3

      The seal is actually very good. There will be some leaking since there is two holes on either side for the rotisserie itself. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    What’s the difference between the only fire vs the Weber one? Also how’s it holding up?

    • @the.great.adventurers

      I’ve had mine over a year with no problems, love it! It looks to last for 15 years or so.
