It's not that he didn't comprehend the kick. He was still looking over to where Apoo was attacked. That little instance signifies that the hit on Apoo and Drake happened within a fraction of a second.

Ngl, kizaru is the only character I ever found scary in one piece and it’s all because of this episode. The fact that they just couldn’t get away no matter what was terrifying. It was like watching a super powered serial killer. You’re only alive cuz he allows it. Sooo creepy.

Kizaru had a powerful introduction. For the second appearance of an admiral in the series, it really showed what they are capable of without even putting in the effort.

Kizaru might be my favorite admiral. All if these supernova were so hyped up during this arc just for Kizaru to take them out instantly. It’s crazy how hyped some characters were just to show how far from the top they truly were.
Kizaru is one of the most OP one piece characters in my opinion.
People really underestimate him and think Akainu is the strongest Admiral but to me Kizaru is, specialy when we never saw him in a serious fight and at his full potential. Here he takes supernovas slowly without much effort.
@@Berserk_96 i mean akainu just has way more hype than kizaru does... his devil fruit is stated to have the strongest attack power out of all of devil fruits, and oda himself stated if he was the protagonist of the series, he could have found one piece in a year.
the dude is being set up as one of the possible final bosses of the series for a reason.

Kizaru is the most underrated character. At Marineford no one was able to even scratch him, no one was able to harm him in the entire series. He was ready to go and deal with Kaido and Big Mom together. This guy is a monster, and he never went all out at all yet.

There's of course many more!

Kizaru is the scariest admiral IMO. The others you can kind of read, but he has no tells what so ever that I could see. Casually speaking one second and blasting you into another realm the next.

My fav admiral in terms of ability, he could literally be one of the strongest characters in the entire series. What makes him so out cold is how good he is at using his abilities even though he has such a relaxed demeanor

I like how realistically the supernovas are written. they're the best of the new generation, but they're still far away from the old. they don't suddenly just gain the power that the old folks took decades to achieve. first they get toyed by admirals, then they enter the new world and get toyed by the emperors

@@jaycienlovelace3123 something about the way he moved. Most of the impacts in OP tend to move characters pretty well, it looked more like he moved out of the way in time.
At 1:10 within these 3 or 4 frames, I notice the discrepancy between Clang Clang man and him: the blur is visible from him moving. More in line with Shave than the other guys no blur at all.
Then the way the attack made a light show after the attack, almost to only destroy that building.

To even further show Kizaru’s insane speed:
If you pay close attention to Apoo when Kizaru appears in front of him, they specifically split the screen to show Kizaru IN FRONT and Apoo just barely managed to look behind him to the spot where Kizaru was already long gone.
Drake also wasn’t even looking at Kizaru’s foot. He didn’t even noticed he was being attacked yet until it was all over.
