Balboa Park. That was such a pleasent oasis-like experience. The rose Garden took me by surprise. The Japanese Gardens are also worth a visit for a day alone, just roaming around. It's a whole experience! I loved every minute there and miss it.
Love the flip at 1:32, haha What's the place at 4:37? Let's say if I don't want to go to any of the museums but explore the place at 4:37, the Japanese garden and the general outdoor area, can I combine all of this with Gaslamp Quarters too? Or would that be too much of walking for a day? Thanks for the awesome video. I will be in San Diego from 24th Dec to 30th Dec
Thank you! The place at 4:37 is the Japanese Garden at Balboa Park. I think you could definitely could combine those parts of Balboa with the Gaslamp Quarters in a day. Hope you are still having a great trip in San Diego, I'm sorry my reply wasn't before you arrived. Thanks for watching!
@@WanderlustWellman Hey, thanks for the reply. I went to these places and Gaslamp and can confirm that they're all doable in a day. I started around 9:30 am and finished by 7:30pm, with a break of 1 hour in between, waiting for the Organ Concert to start while holding my seat in the front row 🤣
There's a decent amount of street parking pretty close the the museums, I was able to find a spot on the weekend near the center of Balboa Park! There are other lots nearby you can park in, but they are a little bit further away
@@briel7484 Yes,Yes , a few trivial facts. No restaurants with Spanish food. ALL STREETS in San Diego have their originals in SPAIN.

We really want to visit the Japanese Gardens next time we are there. We miss Balboa Park a lot too, thanks for sharing your own experience!
Balboa Park is absolutely stunning, I can not wait to get back to San Diego
Agreed! One of my favorite parks period
The beautiful architecture and gardens are eye-catching. This must be a wonderful place. It will be popular with tourists. I also want to go.
It is definitely a bit of a tourist destination, but it is for good reason! I agree that the gardens and buildings are indeed lovely on the eyes

What about the awesome San Diego Zoo in Balboa Park?
This dude is funny, the squirrel had me dying
looks sunny and hot 🥵 ☀️
It was both! I was definitely sad to retreat back to the cold dreary Midwest after this trip 😥
@@WanderlustWellman Aw sorry 😐
@@puuuuffs7073 it’s all good! Haha
Beautiful place I like Po -dodoz
I agree, it is a beautiful place!
most important thing is: where to park???
Good question, there are some meters in the areas central to the park and there is street parking on the streets that surround the park
I was there 💚✌️☮️💋🏳️🌈🌺
That's awesome!
? idk man
this guy is terrible; balboa park is a thousand times better than the impression he’s giving people about it
Well Balboa Park is pretty awesome, so I do agree with you!
Incredible , this All was part of SPAIN 🇪🇸 in the past... Sold for 🥜 peanuts.
𝐁𝐲 the time this park was built in the early 1900 this place had no longer belonged to Mexico much less Spain.
