It's like they deliberately look for this type of person to hire as cops. I saw a story where a man was denied to be hired as a cop because his IQ was to high. It makes you wounder
Edit: I suspect low IQ is needed probably because high IQ people are divergent and not suseptible to training and can make correct decisions based on actual reality that would violate training.

The Supreme Court said recording the police is the difference between a free society and a police state. If this so-called cop can't handle that, he NEEDS another job! The cop, on the other hand, is out of control. A public servant REFUSING to give his name & badge #, menacing the man, illegally DEMANDING his ID, refusing to contact his Supervisor. I'm a retired law enforcement union agent and this officer's behavior just leaves me shaking my head. My guess is he was a cop in his country before immigrating to America. This is a common practice.
