I had a merino thermal tee once but found it itchy. Haven't tried it since. Loved the Meateater series. It inspired me to start hunting. Only days away from my firearms license showing up in the mail box. 😊
Please turn on your comments section for your Dsoon night vision video. You gave a straight forward and fair review for that device which was quite excellent and even so that I subscribed to your channel. I am getting that device because you actually focused on what people are looking for without hiding anything like some other reviewers do. Thank you!👍🏻🍻🕯⭐️
Thanks so much for that review. I’ve personally always use ridge line or spika gear. Because they were made my Aussies and kiwis. (Designed) I knew remi and Steve worn that gear but didn’t know they were involved in the making it. 🤔 If I would new gear now I might have a look.
How do you find the sleeve lengths? I got a Klamath top and the sleeves are way long. These days I wear a synthetic t shirt on the hike in and then change to a merino base layer
To be honest, I haven’t really noticed the sleeve length they seem to be okay for me. Other than my cotton T-shirt, it is Merino for me all day long I just can’t get past how synthetic material holds the smell
Hi Rogee, Do you have any tips for getting motivated to work on my fitness? I have recently lost a lot of weight, just over 50kg, but I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to yet out there and work on my fitness and to lose the rest of the weight I want to lose.
Hey man I know you didn't ask me but... Try to find some kind of activity you enjoy doing. Try different things. Hiking, running, tennis, boxing, MMA, lifting, bike riding. There has to be something that you can find fun or atleast something you don't hate. If you find something you like. Set small goals to improve. Like running time for example or an increase in weight etc. It will be a lot easier. Also remember that motivation is fleeting, discipline lasts forever. There are going to be days you hate going to the gym, too tired etc, but I think of my goals/training schedule I don't want to mess up and go anyway. Also congrats on the weight loss. 50kg is insane!
TBH bro…the goal is to become disciplined enough that training & fitness is a way of life and not a phase. It’s starts with establishing a routine which will promote motivation, having goals are good but outcomes are better. If you hunt and fish then use that as a motivator to perform better as that is fairly measurable. I pack train 3-4 times a week with 20-30kg supplemented with weight training for strength. This works for me coz it’s targeting at my hunting… hope this helps and good luck🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
We all start off 'hori styles' brother...one bit of kit at a time....and dont forget to hide the receipt from Mumsy!!!😉😂😂😂.....or use her comeback " ive had it for ages"😂😂😂

Good luck 👍
Cheers brother 🤙🏽
Merino is my go-to first layer as well here in Tennessee...it keeps me from dropping my core temp as the light fades...
The great retro material🤙🏽
Very nice set-up 😃🤙🤙
Glad you like it🤙🏽
@@rogeeproductions2509 honestly it was a good video on the gear you ues , and shows there's better gear out there 😃👍
Refreshing little video. Always good to know what gear you use.
Cheers brother👍🏼🤙🏽
Just caught up with the videos
Good effort😉👌
Thanks for that , as you wear 3 layers ,and jacket, do you need to up in size , in each layer
No not really as each layer is based on the conditions are standalone. I usually moderate them based on how hot cold and wet it gets.
I think that merino base layer is made from 17.5 micron wool. 175 micron would be like wearing something made from pink batts.
Roger that😂😂
Thinking of the Hawks Bay

Old school Huntech for me Thane made in NZ, does the job for 1/4 the price ;-)
Nothing wrong with NZ gear is just not made in NZ anymore bro.

Good reviews, cheers. Did you go a size up with the corrugated guide jackets or same size as base/mid layer?
Cheers, no the same size for both…the jacket is a bit roomy though

What sizes do you typically run with all this gear? I am trying to decide what size would fit and me and you look about the same build. Thanks!
Large and XL bro
@@rogeeproductions2509 Sorry to be annoying, but what pieces did you find worth going to XL on? Thanks!
