"The Master's dead...as well..." Yeah we know that doesn't happen in this show, he always finds a way back. I wouldn't be surprised if the Master was actually the Timeless Child instead.

Of all the reactions I was glued to watching yours. A true fan and it’s clear. Also on the bandwagon for some 8 love! Hoping Disney + BBC means spin-offs!
Disney only have the rights to stream new series of Dr who outside the uk, I think it will still be upto the BBC whether or not there will be any spin offs
the child was the thing on the plant using a filter to look like a child so people would look after it.
I'm sure you've seen the new logo now😉..It was a beautiful regeneration on the cliffs of Durdle Door. Apparently the estate who own it are super pissed with the BBC as they were never told what the use of Durdle Door was for but they did give permission for drone shots.
They are claiming that if the estate knew Jodie was to regenerate on the edge of the cliff they would NEVER have given permission. They are citing safety concerns of Whovians wanting to stand in Jodies spot.
The BBC are saying permission was granted & the estate never asked what it was to be used for & of course the regeneration was as secret as they could make it.

Can’t help thinking that there might be a spin-off series with all the ex companions working with Kate from UNIT. What’s your thoughts on that idea? Tennant is the Doctor for three specials only until Ncuti takes over. Much love ❤️💋🌈
with Kate being Kate, she could call in a few of the companions who WERENT there, Martha Smith, retired captain Mike Yates, retired warrent officer John Benton (from UNIT in the 70's) Victoria, Polly and Steven (from 1st and 2nd!!!) And the Bannerman Rd kids
Not looking forward to Tennant to be honest. Wanted Ncuti to be the nest doctor straight away. I think John Bishop was touring his stand up show in September last year so explains his early exit.

i’m so happy for David Tennant to be back that means o can actually watch doctor who again. i hated jodie’s era and i’m so happy she’s gone. ive watched doctor who since the 3rd incarnation of the doctor i wasn’t born for the first two but David Tennant is everything i imagined the doctor to be. i’m looking forward to Ncuti too.

I didn't understand why the Doctor had to leave Yaz behind. If she really loved Yaz, she would have let Yaz stay and witness the regeneration. I would love to see Yaz running around with the 10th (14th) Doctor.
I think during the Easter special, off camera Yaz and the Doc both agreed that if regeneration would come that it just might too painful for them to stay together. Remember how hurt Rose felt seeing the 10th regenerate. Although she started with the 9th, she feel in love with 10th. Only the Doc using his hand help cheat a full on regeneration. The 13th knew Yaz couldn't handle seeing her not only change bodies, but become an entirely different persona. It was the Doc way of saying I want you to love me and remember me in this form.

@@kaizoisevil Honestly, you could have investigated it better if Ncuti' had become the new full time doctor right away. Let's face it Tennant belongs to Billie Piper. But let's say she stayed, 1st Yaz would have to encounter the post regeneration blues. That state where he/she doesn't know who the hell I am. Then let's face it, its took Yaz a minute to embrace the idea that she could love a female "alien". Now you asking her to embrace being in love with a male that might be too much of a reach. As far as the Doc goes it's back to being a man, but Doc clearly enjoyed this previous version, but fear of rejection is real. Can Yaz relate to me as a male? Do I want to go thru this love business again, after all, it was fine with River I knew where things would end up. But what about the pain of Rose or for that matter the pain I felt when I thought Peri was dead. At beginning of the 23rd season Peri and the 6th Doc had matured and they are seen waking together.
On a beautiful side note give Jodie and Mandip so much credit for allowing the Doc and Yaz to have this relationship we can all ponder about. Chibnall never intended for those to become an item, but Jodie and Mandip took it upon themselves to deal with the elephant in the room.
Maybe Jodie and Mandip will investigate the Doc and Yaz relationship on audio.
i so happy David Tennant is returning to doctor who it means i can actually watch the show again. i hated jodie’s era and couldn’t wait to get rid of her. ive watched doctor who since the 3rd incarnation Jon Pertwee i wasn’t born when the first two were around. i prefer Tom Baker for classic who and David Tennant for nu who. An actor who can actually act. A female doctor doesn’t work. The only timelord that worked was when the master was missy. Ive never screamed so loudly when jodie’s doctor regenerated into David Tennant i wish it was for more than 3 episodes for the 60th birthday of the show. i’m looking forward to seeing what Ncuti Gatwa brings to the table. Take care and roll on November 2023 and the return of the best doctor.😘
Good to see David as the 14th Doctor, but I always wondered if the creators wanted a separate female timelord series, how about Romana or Susan, I would have been cool with that. Even former companion Sarah Jane Smith had her own series. What do you think?
