Really enjoyed the 1st Friday the 13th. I agree with Betsy Palmer though. Jason is a little boy dead at the bottom of Crystal Lake. The other films confused me because all the sudden they had Jason running around as a full grown adult! ?

My favorite ones was the original and the second one. It seems like a real big long complete story. 3-FVJ didn't make sense whatsoever. I did enjoy 4, 6, and 7 but I don't like the telekinetic side of 7 that's where the shark began to jump. 3 was stupid, as in let's go kill random people that's not even at Camp Crystal Lake or The Lodge. Throw in some gangster hoodlums and you got trash baby yeah!!! Umm how about NO...5 was bad in every direction. 8-NEW YORK CITY!- um as much as I loved him being in NYC, it's not HOME, Camp Crystal Lake. 9 he was possessing people???? Cheesy... Bitch.... SMH blechhhh, and 10 and 11, do not try to make a franchise better by launching a killer in space nor team them up against another famous killer. Just.... No. The reboot was decent, but they shouldn't have focused on looking at the missing sister perspective. It's about JASON, not a bother trying to find his sister. No. Good back story, but got horrible with the brother sister plot...I mean it's been done. It's called HALLOWEEN. But the brother was psycho and the sister was unlucky to be stalked by him. The plot was remade too in 2007 and 09.
The deaths were so realistic which is one of the reason why the film did so well
These kills packed a punch in 1980, and they pack a punch today. By far the best of the series.
