From your shakey cam, it looks like you could drill right through the plastic block and out the back - even if you have to temporarily remove the bolt at 90 degrees - and put in a bolt and nut assembly, burr the end of the bolt over the nut and wrap it in some cloth tape (aka Duck Tape) to stop it chaffing a hole in the top. I have several pop up Gazebos we use for week long camping events and get to do maintenance on the frames, roofs and walls. I always tie any guy ropes around the multi-way joint which locks to the top of the leg - the supplied bits of string tied to the roof just rip out in the first big bit of wind, wrecking the roof seam then letting the gazebo crash over or fly into the sky then crash and turn into an ugly wreck which you can't even fold enough to put in a garbage skip (I've seen other people's gazebos and tents do this, not mine {fingers crossed}).

Who knew Gazebos could be so high-maintenance?

Hi Dave. I'd take a picture of the bolt and see if a google "lens" shows a result for you?

The thread looks like confirmation screws (ikea screws) Dave. The head, no, maybe a countersunk washer?

Will give that some thought, thanks.

Hey Dave, I'm curious to how you would design a shipping container workshop. What are the things that you would focus on for efficiency given the limited width of the space? Keen to hear your thoughts

Hey Johnny. I think the containers are 2.4 metres wide x 2.6 metres tall and 6 metres long which equates to the size of a small garage. Height and length are ok but width is the issue. I would have everything on wheels and add a ramp at the front so you can work with your machines outside on the driveway? A vent of some sort on the roof that can be opened or closed, A reverse cycle airconditioner would also be a good idea. LED lighting instead of windows and a portable power supply, solar panels on the roof if power is not available. The rest my friend is totally up to you but a good bench would be an essential.

Oh No! Dave gutted mate, you cant drill through to use a nut and bolt, or will it catch when you fold it. Hope you find some thing. Have a good one

All bolts or screws are on the same plane so trying to drill through would destroy one of the other screws.

Morning Dave - Thinking along the lines of woodworking - can you fill the bottom of the hole with plastic or glue and re-insert the screw in? (hoping they will bond in place)

Bonding is the issue. At this stage I am thinking about a bit of high tensile fencing wire fed in and looped through a side hole I could drill?

Is a rivet an option? Planned obsolescence in action.

A rivet would be an option but it also has it's own problems.
