Loved watching this when i was off sick from school, I credit both Tony Hart and Nancy for kick starting my interest in art when I was younger.

I watched This Lovely Lady Nancy and along with the awesome Bill Alexander growing up in Buffalo as a kid in the 1970's. They were Were my TWO Inspirational teachers that made me want to paint and draw. I love them forever. (NOTE I like do like Bob Ross, but he was a decade after I was an adult) THANKS for Sharing!

Alternatively, she spent her whole life learning a skill.

Do you remember a sci-fi programme with a little robot my daughter remembers as coming on after it, please?

The UK version did occupy both a lunchtime slot and an after school slot, however there were some repeats in the early 1980s (which I remember) that were shown mid-morning in some places.

Nancy was as slapdash as hell with that paint, but then suddenly the picture just works and you realise she knew what she was doing all along. Landscape painting is the easy side of art though. People and animals are far more difficult. I notice Bob Ross left them well alone too.

Unintentional ASMR Nancy Kominsky 4 Paint Along With Nancy Kominsky Storm On The Adriatic 1117am 21.11.23 i wonder if she, in a fit of aesthetic whimsy, married her husband due to his surname being akin to kandisnky?

Unintentional ASMR Nancy Kominsky 4 Paint Along With Nancy Kominsky Storm On The Adriatic 1106am 21.11.23 she always seemed angry to me. but, then, everyone from the 1970's did. she is far more to the point than bob - who flies with the brush and the paint and interacts with the odd smudge and blur as though a happy accident. she indulges her proclivity for dominance over subdued tones.... she seems obsessed with rule of 30's... always parceling up her canvas. i never attempted to paint like nancy or bob.......................... p.s i've gone to my happy place, nance...
