I don't think people realise how much of a genius you are. I've seen plenty of knife paintings in my life and never thought twice about them, as they were unappealing and lacked attention to detail. Your paintings come to life with the sheer attention to detail you pour into them. You are the type of artist that people will talk about for generations. Truly, keep painting without regard to what people have to say, please. Your talent and paintings need to be kept for generations to see and wonder over. Thank you for your contribution to humanity's weaving web of artistic endeavors.

The further the artist gets into opening their vision into this world, I can almost hear the sounds- the rain, cars, tires on wet pavement and a horn or two, etc. And toward the end, I can smell and feel the cool, damp air. Amazing talent. The music fits perfectly.

I’m 25 and just go into painting for some random reason that I’ve yet to dwell into. Yet when I watch artist paint, I get so emotional and just in awe at the beauty. Never liked painting or drawing in my life, and now I’m in love.. thank you for the inspiration you share online. :)

That was the best I’ve thing I’ve read in comments for a long time. I remember going National Gallery in London, UK. I had some time to kill and it was free, so.
But walking around I saw a painting of the ocean by William Turner, and it made me stop. And it made me catch my breath. I left the place with tears welling, and emotions overflowing. And still don’t know why. I spend a lot more time in galleries since. I enjoy paintings, and now also enjoy making paintings.

In 1988 I moved to NY city from a small town in eastern Washington when I was 19 and stayed for about a year and a half. . I got a job in Brooklyn in a book bindery. I have many memories, all good, during that time! Now at 53 years old I'm watching this video of city life in the rain - an absolute beautiful painting! All the memories come rushing back during that time in my youthful life and I'm getting very emotional! Thanks for the trip down memory lane and I'll be looking for a painting like this to decorate my newly remodeled foyer! I hope to find one! Thanks again!

Absolutely amazing. You know it’s amazing when you watch the entire video. You watch the process of making this painting and still in wonder about how he did it. It’s perfect in how imperfect it is. I have no painting knowledge, so I can’t speak on what style this is. All I can say is I prefer this over a painting that is overly real. It has so much life and somehow it connects with me. Immediately I start feeling something deep and meaningful. I love it. Wow

WOW. To watch this as it happened in time...The forms, developmental psychology, history, emergence itself. Yet this mindscape would be lost to another zeitgeist who had never been in a place with these objects. We get cars, umbrellas, streetlights, rainy pavement immediately, but as little as a century ago, these familiar impressions would be lost on aboriginal isolated peoples.
Yet by using their objects from their mental snapshots of the experience of daily life, I'm sure that your insight as a communicator would resonate with them as well.
Thanks for the deeper insight into impressionism that escaped me in the then boring lectures on art history.
THIS is the collective unconscious; the time bound availability of what is going on prior to any meaning or effort. The antidote is here, in the beautiful unembellished eye of a true observer. Cleansing. Nourishing. Healing.
Huge thumbs up! It is a rare privelege in this time to look through your eyes.
