    If you’re new to my channel, my name is Alex Hormozi. I’m the founder and managing partner of Acquisition.com. It’s a family office, which is just a formal way of saying we invest our own money into companies. Our 10 portfolio companies bring in over $200,000,000+ per year. Our ownership stake varies between 20% and 100% of them. Given this is a YT channel, and anyone can claim anything, I’ll give you some stuff you can google to verify below.
    How I got here…
    21: Graduated Vanderbilt in 3 years Magna Cum Laude, and took a fancy consulting job.
    23 yrs old: Left my fancy consulting job to start a business (a gym).
    24 yrs old: Opened 5 gym locations.
    26 yrs old: Closed down 6th gym. Lost everything.
    26 yrs old: Got back to launching gyms (launched 33). Then, lost everything for a 2nd time.
    26 yrs old: In desperation, started licensing model as a hail mary. It worked.
    27 yrs old: "Gym Launch" does $3M profit the next 6 months. Then $17M profit next 12 months.
    28 yrs old: Started Prestige Labs. $20M the first year.
    29 yrs old: Launched ALAN, a software company for agencies to work leads for customers. Scaled to $1.7mmo within 6 months.
    31 yrs old: Sold 75% of UseAlan to a strategic buyer in an all stock deal.
    31 yrs old: Sold 66% of Gym Launch & Prestige Labs at $46.2M valuation in all-cash deal to American Pacific Group. (you can google it)
    31 yrs old: Started our family office Acquisition.com. We invest and scale companies using the $42M in distributions we had taken + the cash from the $46.2M exit.
    32 yrs old: Started making free content showing how we grow companies to make real business education accessible to everyone (and) to attract business owners to invest or scale their businesses.
    34 yrs old: I became co-owner of Skool.com to help the many people who want to start a business online do so.
    Today: Our portfolio now does $200M/yr between 10 companies. The largest doing $100M/yr the smallest doing $5M per year. Our ownership varies between 20% and 100% ownership of the companies. Many of them we invested in early and helped grow (which is how we make our money - not youtube videos).
    To all the gladiators in the arena, we’re all in the middle of writing our own stories. The worse the monsters, the more epic the story.
    You either get an epic outcome or an epic story. Both mean you win.

    "Ancient wealth cipher" is the book that changed me, and helped me understand how the world works. It has some valuable wealth and life advices, and it taught me to be my best self. I highly recommend it!

    I was a supervisor at the great Walmart ..I asked my store manager what I needed to do to move up in the company....he said learn as much as you can and the next day he gave me his copy of how to win friends and influence people and said this book will help you immensely

    I love that he started with not one, but three books by Cialdini. Influence is more brilliant than you can even imagine. It will change your life.

    Every book on this list that I’ve read is straight 🔥🔥 and the rest just got added to read (or re read) soon bc at this point there’s very few people whose recommendations I take more seriously than yours. Keep crushing it. I and so many others appreciate you way more than you’ll ever know.

    As someone who’s read most of these books (or listened to them as Audiobooks) we seldom need the info inside them. What most of us need is initiative, focus, and severe intensity!

      Yeah true. I read a couple of related books but ultimately my mind wasn't really ready for it. It took many years and multiple mindset shifts to really appreciate these books in regards to my situation

      @@bhargavkalita9394it gives you the mindset to being rich and motivates you to achieve your goals. It’s the first book to read if you’re going to be an entrepreneur, then you’ll be motivated to read more business books

    I listened to this list a few months ago and read how to win friends and influence people 10 times and it changed my life and then I thought just now “what should I read I’m bored” and remembered where I found that book and realized Alex dropped 12 more than it on my head🤩 I can’t wait for what I have in store to learn I’m about to buy and read all 12

      @@malangbaba7553 yes it is (i was honestly skeptical at first). and in fact we as readers have to revisit it multiple times since it has a lot of similar. it's better if you get the physical book since it has the formulas - it's easier to read/learn

    I just finished both your 100M Offers and 100M Leads in the last three weeks. We saw a 47.3% increase MOM.

      Paper is better than reading online, it's like going to the gym instead of "being able to do it at home" it makes you accountable and allows you to focus on this one task without distraction
