The bath was under 10 minutes. While baths should be short as possible, that's an ok duration for a bath, especially if there are fleas.
@@GabrielHawthorneDVM. Given the fact that the water stayed almost clean, there were no fleas and they used normal soap (which hurts on the cat's skin) the bath was too long. The music intends fun but the experience is quite stressing for the cat.

I don't think cats particularly like hair dryers, the noise is too much. It's fine to let them air dry in a warm place or via a gentle massage with a towel. This lovely kitten looks really scared. Thank you for looking after him. But keep checking on his behaviour at all times to check if he's scared or it's getting too much.

I think it is a way to be sure that the kitten has no fleas. When they have fleas they can very quickly become dangerously anemic
Hi cat lady here, the bath should be at below cats temperature of at least 34degree Celcius or lower use a cloth to soak him and don't take to long it can frustrate him . Never put water in the ears and eyes use a cotton wool ball and dry ears very well . Towel dry if it's cold put a hair dryer on low heat to completely dry off kitty . Then use a human tooth comb to get the fleas and eggs of him. Then give him a treat to eat . I done this hundreds of times in my work. This is a Japanese bobtail cat breed. Very cute! Always good to bath a new kitten. They can have fleas, ringworm, and lots of others germs amd parasites on their fur.
Poor kitten, his owner likes to pose for the camera while bathing him and slowly pour water on him here and there, not paying much attention to the fact that he is so scared.

First bath for a kitten usually requires leather sleeves on the one giving the bath. Or a suture kit. And antibiotic ointment. It is safer to bottle feed and hire a kitty groomer.

I think she did put soap, but it didn't lather that much. She placed it between her fingers, rubbing together to try to lather, but it didn't lather much. Then rubbed it on the kitty

No need to keep wetting the cute kitten with plain water because it doesn't kill the fleas. Next time please put soap around its neck before bathing it to prevent those nasty fleas from going up to the kitten 's head and ears. Thank you so much for taking care of him.

problem w/giving kittens bath ...they have a fond memory of baths that they'll grow up thinking your toilet is a jacuzzi. that fond memory of feeling flea free followed by the best snoozie. my furline likes baths every 2-weeks during spring & summer.

Not a very smart way to dry a kitten with a towel that has already absorbed most water fr the super wet sink, and then wipe the kitten's fur w the same part of the already wet towel over and over. You wouldn't have had the need to blow dry kitty for a long time if a real dry towel was used in the first place.
But it was nice of her to care for the kitty and give it a bath.
