We're back in Kochi - a sad goodbye to grandparents but a happy welcome at hotel Taj

Annika, like so many toddlers, is really attached to her grandparents. So it was quite heartbreaking for her to say goodbye once again to them. They stayed with us in Kerala for about two months and now it was time for them to go back to Jaipur and handle other family affairs. Annika becomes inconsolable every time she sees them leaving. As she is getting older, she's becoming more expressive with her emotions. So its funny to see her express her anger to grandparents over the phone calls. Soon after they left, we had to go to Kochi and we once again stayed at the Taj Malabar. It was quite nostalgic to see Annika running around the same lawns that we used stroll when she was a toddler. It was a wonderful trip as usual, but Annika would rather have traded it for her best friends - her grandparents :)
