Chilly Waterhole Swims with the Jabulani Elephant Herd 🐘💦

A chilly wind made an unexpected appearance today, reminding us of the winter season. Not all of the elephants are interested in taking a swim in the waterhole. Somopane and Fishan remain on dry land, while Jabulani and Tokwe take a quick dip before heading back to the bush to forage. Setombe and Khanyisa stay close to Phabeni, and are extra vigilant with him near the water. Pisa sits contentedly in the middle of the waterhole, soon joined by Sebakwe and Zindoga. The elephants will continue to visit the waterholes throughout winter, but whether they swim or not depends on each individual's preferences and personality.
