  • A hive of activity was taking place over in the Cumbrian fell side after weeks of rain but with bright blue skies and with better weather predicted it was all hands on deck. An absolutely mint MF 362 was scattering out the grass with a Lely Lotus Stabilo 4-rotor tedder in a field that due to a good week forecast ahead was going to be left to dry for a few days and into small hay bales (video to follow). In the background an International 1056XL can be seen mowing another field (see my previous video post)
On the way home I had to stop after spotting another MF 300 series also tedding out the grass.Although this MF 399 wasn’t quite as shiny as the MF 362 it was nevertheless still a very straight tractor for its 35 years of age and this time was kicking out the grass (I couldn’t identify the tedder, any guesses?) to be baled into wrapped silage.
Filmed in Cumbria 28th July 2024.
