I think the current version of the Artificer is pretty decent, though I think that the extra attunment slots you get should be spread out a bit rather than all smacked on at 20th level.

Thats actually a good point. A more even distribution would make sense. Not long till we see the class in print in the new Eberron book, so we will see if they made any further balancing changes.
