I know different trips demand different things to bring or carry. I see in your videos that you use a backpack (as most people should do) in Las Vegas. Because people take or carry certain things for certain trips, what is the type of backpack you have on this video and are there other ones you like as well?
Great video as always. Have not stayed at MGM since the 90s. They still had the lions. Enjoyed the images of how it looked back in the day. Great work!
Hey Jordan and Ashden! The description/information/history pop-ups are brilliant! Also the pin with your location on the hotel map is great! Hope you and Ashden do another live chat, the live chat last night was awesome!👌 Great video!
Jordan’s reviews are straightforward and honest. Fantastic to see how improved he is now in front of the camera and editing. They look like a football player married to a cheerleader couple.
Always the best reviews and appreciated! Not everyone is a fan of MGM Grand but for me I think it’s a top value on the strip when you combine the different games, the amount of games, restaurants and average hotel cost. Yes sometimes there is a water/pipes issue and it’s a lot of people but still enjoy my stays.
Yeah, the MGM is enormous. I've been there + stayed there for a couple of conventions recently. After spending 4-5 days there at a time it gets a little less confusing. I remember going to the MGM also in 1995 when they still had the Wizard of Oz exhibit.. it was pretty cool back then. When I go to MGM though, I still find myself zipping out to the strip to see bigger and better things. Nice video and tour!
Jordan… I always watch your videos.. good work. Ive seen every cirque show, some numerous times. Ive seen kA 7 times and counting. The story is interesting, the stunts are spectacular.. but for me as an engineer the stage itself steals the show. The things the engineers designed and built the stage to do are jaw dropping. I wont give too much away but the battle wall is my favorite part of the show… and of course the fireworks….set off inside the theater! It is one of the most affordable shows… do yourself a favor.. GO and see it.. its well worth it..!
Awesome job breaking down this massive property, definitely not an easy task. Easy to follow along and super informative with the floor plan. Ya'll really do the best property tours.. The place has so much to offer (other than a decent buffet of course). Love Brad Garretts Comedy club!
Haha. I definitely got lost at the MGM the first time I came to Vegas years ago. I was staying at the Trop so came over to MGM and I swear it look me almost 30 minutes to figure out the right way to get out back to the Tropicana.
Great job as always will Be staying at that hotel next week for a week the last time I stayed there was 10’yesrs ago lots of changes thanks for showing the entire property ❤
As usual, you did a great job on the video. I routinely get lost in there, but I have more confidence now (I'll give it a crack when I am in LV next week). I remember when they had a real lion on display at the MGM!
Me and my friends did a Vegas trip in the summer of 1994 and stayed at the Mirage but we hit up MGM of course..we all got lost, seriously wandering around trying to find our way out of the casino to meet up for Dinner. Had a blast..that was when the entrance was the big Golden Lion and inside was the Wizard of Oz set up..miss those days of Vegas, still love MGM though. Circa's Sports book I think is probably the best in Vegas at the moment..seeing the sports book at MGM is kinda underwhelming, I haven't gone to that area in years but stayed at the signature towers last time I went. Highly recommend eating at Morimoto!
Thanks for the great tour of the MGM Grand, informative and entertaining (with pics from the past) !! But Leilani and drinks 14 years apart ??.....I don't care if she is legendary, that's a long time to wait for your 2nd round !!!
She served me and my friends way back in 2010 and we never forgot her. When she served me again 14 years later I absolutely had to snap a pic to send to my buddies. She's been with the MGM Grand for 25 years.
Trick on getting into the Gold check in: Stay Well rooms use the Gold check in. Great way to jump the always huge lines. During the walk through, poker on his left was cash tables and poker on the right was tournament.
The second poker area (away from the poker front desk) is used for tournaments ...mainly they offer 11am,7pm,11pm 2000 dollar guaranteed prize pool with a 120.00 buy in and 100.00 add on for 50k in chips. I played twice and cashed twice. Definitely a fun poker trip for me , Lol😊
thanks for the Grand Tour! love most things about MGM Grand, but unfortunately I must agree about how disappointing Whiskey Down was my one and only time there. limited selection, unreasonable price, and provided no flights or samplers. If you do find a good whiskey bar/lounge please do share. Keep up the great work as always, and have a great Fall!
being of meager income, i'd never stayed in a place like this. it was like staying in a shopping mall. had to attend a thing in the conference center it was seriously a 30+ minute walk ALL inside the hotel.
Perfect timing - headed to Vegas a week from Sunday and using a myVEGAS comp at MGM. Stayed there a bunch of times over the past 20 years and still get lost almost every time…
@@ShowMeVegas Using a one-night comp stay (the room would have been $320 + resort fee for Sunday night otherwise). Also planning to get the free appetizer at Wolfgang Puck.
I stayed at MGM Grand in 2021, and while I didn't get lost (after the first day, at least), it took me FOREVER to get just about anywhere. I was staying in the Studio/West Wing tower, and even with a shortcut, the walk from my room to anywhere else was so long it kind of soured me on the hotel by the end of my trip. I just got back from a trip to Vegas a couple of weeks ago, and I wanted to stay at MGM Grand again to give them another chance, but the rates were more than I wanted to pay.
if you could ask for a strip view what's the best tower or section to ask for? I never reazlied how big it is. Are there trams connectoins to other hotels from MGM other than the monnorail?
Ha, Ka is the ONLY Cirque du Soleil show I've ever seen, and it wasn't all that weird, it was actually really interesting, and the performers are very interactive and playful. Great show! check it out
I was at mgm in July also, was very busy and yes, huge. Over the course of my vegas stays, I get to know the property, and while large I do feel like I have a decent lay of the land there. Enough to be able to pop in for food or the bathroom if needed quickly. I feel like their attractions and activities are lacking now. Lots of food and gaming, pool complex, but their shows leave something to be desired. Agree, weird waste of space by the strip entry, plus that like arcade area by the escalators
A story line based around a "little blue alien"? Yeah. Cheesy is probably being too nice. Copperfield has phoned it in. There was no energy to him whatsoever, he's simply a man going through the motions at this point in his career. I wouldn't go back if somebody gave me a free ticket...
I like MGM but after covid the district is lacking, the food is kinda eh. I do like the casino but I find myself staying at other resorts especially with the MGM players card. Thanks for the review, I'll stay away from KA and Copperfield lol
Can confirm the platinum VIP Lounge, at least when I stayed last Summer, did have alcohol. I also do agree with Jordan that once you do get the hang of MGM Grand it honestly isn’t that tough to navigate. Just gotta be patient that it’s a MASSIVE resort and it takes some time to get anywhere. My wife and I did get discounted Ka tickets with a MyVegas code. I’d say it’s worth checking out; not the easiest storyline to follow but the stunts are pretty awesome.
That carpet is horrendous, but I like the hotel. I understand supposedly that the carpet is ugly to make you look to the machines, but to me this is probably more superstition from the owners than actual reality. I'd venture to say that people would play the same or more if they have nice aesthetics.
Don’t waste your money and stay in the hotel.Suites are dingy and dark bad smell coming from drains. They are overpriced beat rooms only good things on the property are KA and the casino
😂 That couldn’t be farther from the truth, but if you want literally everything to be made out as perfect you should probably just stick to the hotel websites. They’ll always tell you all of their features are great!
Nope. I briefly thought the same when I was editing the video but on closer inspection it was a random couple about 20 years younger. Thanks for watching!

I stayed there in April, it was great! Yes it’s Big. Watching your videos on this place made me want to stay here!
🙌🏻
Excellent tour video of MGM grand. Well done with details of the property floor plan .
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!
Thank you for this! We are literally staying there next week!! Super helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent tour.....thanks for the video !
Thanks for watching!
Wow….many thanks for the tour!

thank you for the updated tour of the MGM Grand!
The Joel Robuchon restaurant are worth the splurge. I enjoyed it very much.

That Chinese restaurant used to be a place called Pearl. What a great memory. 🙏🏼 I had the best Peking Duck there
That must have been a long while ago. The last restaurant in that space was China Tang. Thanks for watching!

David Copperfields show was "cheesy "...? I have seen it 2 times and it was incredible...!

See KA, but wait until your wife can join you. Seeing the moving stage is worth it on its own in my opinion.
I was under the impression level up was being shut and redelveloped into something new!?
Evidently not. It's still there, although I've never seen it busy...
I’ve stayed there many times when we used to go to LV, Vegas greed had kept us away
You buried the lead on Nelly's. It's owned by the Jonas Brothers. The Millennials will want to know!

We used to be platinum and they had beer and wine in that lounge, glad to hear they still do! Thanks for watching!
I wish MGM would invest big money into MGM Grand.....lot of missed opportunity as far as luxury goes.
MGM properties really neglect all their sportsbooks. They all need screen updates
If you ever want to see KA let me know, I can get you free tickets. I was in the show before KA called EFX.
Ever been to the nightclub? Im curious how it is?
Nah, we're not nightclub people. It has been popular for a long time, though!

One of the worst remaining hotel carpets, for sure! MGM Resorts has been changing carpets lately so maybe this one is next!
I can navigate mgm grand slightly better than the grande canal shops
The grand canal shops are a navigational nightmare!
Definitely some great dining, and an incredible pool, but in general I just feel like MGM Grand lacks a personality
I can seen that, but I think it's got a lot more personality than some of the newer resorts. Thanks for watching!
Somebody commented about. Ka is terrible well what is ka
Tried craft steak not worth the money
We are there once but honestly don’t remember what we thought of it. Thanks for watching!

KA is terrible. Save your cash.
Disagree. Saw it in July and enjoyed it. A few notches below “O” but a notch above Beatles Love IMHO
The MJ one is also complete garbage IMHO.
Copperfield's the worst. So campy and amateurish. There are so many better magicians in Vegas. Mac King is my personal favorite.
Agreed. Underwhelming would be a nice way to put it.
I think I saw A cameo of a Vegas influencer couple in this video around 13:30

I have no control over that! It's a great song to be playing in a casino though, no?
