    The country that will love you back when it is given a sincere heart. The Filipinos is worth defending, be friends for and the most genuine human beings that you will ever come across in this lifetime and I am quite proud of the country where I am lucky to be born and raised up as a child (before leaving my teen life) that molded decency and tamed my european DNA.

    What you call resiliency can at times really be fatalism, we call it "Bahala na attitude" like if we die, we die.

    • @hl8655
      @hl8655 4 года назад +10

      Yes. It is a double-edged sword. Blind optimism is as dangerous as pessimism. It also breads unhealthy coping mechanism and makes us Filipinos unwilling to address important issues by repressing the detrimental effects of those issues.

    Yes Filipinos as most resilient people in the world, we easily overcome hardship and move on,despite of adversities Filipinos easily stand up in every fall. Why Filipinos are resilient, given to the geographical location of our country wherein we are in the Pacific Ring of Fire, almost all natural disasters /calamities are encountered by Filipinos yearly- a disaster-prone country.There's earthquake,volcanic eruption,typhoon, floods, tsunamis among others, aside from man-made calamities (wars,fires). Because of these, Filipinos developed an attitude of resilience, such are rising against all odds, to start all-over again from the ashes,from damages or failures and the spirit of BAYANIHAN or spirit of unity to help each other in times like these ,they are the qualities we can proud of. Another there's a sense of humor and happiness even if disasters come.Filipinos always wears smile even in the midst of hardship, always hoping that everything will come into order.I am a Filipino .PROUD PINOY TAYO.

    How come a foreign national love ph? I dont get it. We should be the one to love it first. The first time i met a foreign family when my mom's employers, the seybold family went to the phil, its the first time i saw and feel real kind people. We talked about yolanda and how really our govt handled it. They were so warm and kind people that i never felt in my own country.

      igor bolsheviks tell me what do you know about philippine history? Is that your real name? Sounds russian or you are just using that to hide yourself? If you cannot justify your criticism and opinion, I suggest make a research of how philippines open it's door during holocaust and the russian escape of communism. That is only for a start to know a little bit about the character of a Filipino. Goodluck!
