I’ve just helped my eldest son buy his first car, a 66 plate Clio Dynamique Nav. Really appreciate the tips in this video, especially the timing belt as the car we bought hadn’t had this done so we agreed with the dealership that they would do this before collection.
@@jturk3216 We're in the process of buying a 2018 and it does not have Apple Car Play or Android Auto, surprising as most vehciles made after 2017 have these popular apps. Still, after two years of renting, we are definitely looking forward to delivery of our Clio! 🙂
My second-hand Clio 4 steers to the right when I let go of the steering wheel and something squeaks when steering when stationary. The brakes also squeak.
0.9 tce engine has a timing chain... which 'should' last the lifetime of the engine. But it can stretch, in which case you'll have to replace it. When will it stretch depends on the oil you use, and how frequently you change it.

Can I confirm the 1.2L (1149cc) engine has a timing belt and not a chain? So I'm ok til 60,000km or 5yr, whatever is first?

Cecilia Nshalati it is
It's a fine car! Reliability is good. Fuel economy is good. Confort is OK. Ride is OK. Parts are cheap and plentiful. Insurance is cheap.
Get a mk5 it's far better
Ik mis de vloer in de kofferbak dan is de kofferbak vlak
I always thought it should be spelled Cliault!
It's a shame it's not timing chain.
